Love seeing the old sheet metal being used up on something instead of trashed. The new "Green" Rotters garage!

Builds like these seem fun because there is no "proper" way to do it. You get creative with materials 👏👏

I dig it, panel below the trunk has too much angle, should be more up and down. Should be an easy fix

If you are interest there is a place here in Oklahoma City at SE 44th and Post road that is a Model T junk yard, has a lot of bodies and parts. Looks to be in good condition from a distance. To me I would never go this far to build anything that is rotten and rusted as this one. One crash and you may die even with roll cages. But this is a making from scratch. Looking foward tothe next video.

Looks like there wasn't enough metal on this old car to form rust. Cool build.
@KenthGustafsson3005 ай бұрын
great job..why did you take of the 5w construction?
@rottersgarage5 ай бұрын
Thanks Kenth, I am assuming you mean the 5 window construction? Being that this car is going to be a dedicated banger racecar, the idea is to go as light as possible, so dropping the weight of the entire roof line, door tops, and windshield pillars adds up to quite an amount dropped. Most of the guys running have stripped down roadsters like this. Also, the tops of the doors were 31 1/2 with those angled pillars so they didn't match the windshield and were short of the rear roof line, not that it couldn't be made to work... But really, everything above the body lines was in pretty poor condition, extremely rotten....
@jeffreyhecht65125 ай бұрын
So what are you doing with the roof pieces you took off?
@rottersgarage5 ай бұрын
Probably just put it back on the pile of model a sheet metal. The pillars were rotted out for the windshield, that went on the scrap pile, the 28 rear section I saved though...

He made a coupe into an obviously fake roadster. Should have left it a coupe. It looks nothing like a real roadster.

Very dissapointing. Took a hard to find hardtop and chopped it off to turn It into a monstrosity.

1. Open your eyes. There was daylight coming through every other inch of that top. 2. Coupe bodies still aren't rare by any stretch, so settle down. 3. His property, not yours. 4. Let's see your perfect, all original build, eh? We'll all stand by for links to your channel, which I'm sure you'll provide any minute...Any minute now...Aaaany minute...
