Yes people, please quarantine your new bird because 👇👇 One day my mother's friend asked me if I wanted her 2 budgies, and i said yes, so the next day she brought them, i had put them on the table in the house, they looked a little deformed, and i thought it's ok, no one is perfect. 2 hours later my mom woke up, when she took one look at them and told me " TAKE THEM OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!!!!! and i said why, my mom said they are COVERED in scaly face MITES!!!!!!! Luckily they didn't infect my other birds. We took them to a vet, she said she'll keep them and treats them, unfortunately one passed away 😭🙏😔😔 So yup, i know a thing or 2 about quarantine ❤❤ Loved the video, see you in the next one ❤❤❤❤❤

@@Firefox14958 thank you for a real life example. I have had people tell me they’ve “never quarantined a bird in 40 years and never had a problem “ but do you really want to take that chance? Not me!

​​@@ElvisMySweetBudgie Absolutely, i also don't want to take that chance! Sorry for not taking earlier, we just moved here yesterday, so i hadn't sleep in almost 42 hours! I was SOOOO stressed about the birds, we drove 600 miles, luckily it was at night, so the birds where covered, they got some sleep in, and they were ok. ❤❤❤ I can't believe some people don't quarantine their new birds? 🤔🤔 You, your Bf, Elvis, LJ and Gibbs must have an awesome and amazing day/night there ❤❤❤❤❤ it's currently 1:12 pm here 😁😁

I've heard you say LJ has a leg injury, don't worry it'll be ok, when i got my gouldian finch from my next door neighbor her toe fel of, i had absolutely no idea what happened to her, there was nothing we could give her because she was so small, we just took her outside in her cage with half sun and half shadow, i could honestly say that the sun healed her toe, now i know that you're probably thinking " the sun can't heal" but it did help my gouldian finch, her name is Flutter 😁 but if i can give you some advice, please put LJ in full sun just for about 10 minutes, i can guarantee it will help him ❤❤😁😁 Much love ❤❤❤

@@Firefox14958 the foot loss is from an old injury, it’s fully healed, I just want to help him as much as I can. I feel so sorry for the little guy, but he seems to rule the cage though. Gibbs likes to eat too much, and LJ is constantly going to the food dish and running Gibbs off, so he is pretty spunky!
