How is it now?...I understand goldfish tear up the plants

Honestly i dont care about how many fishy in the tank as long as filtration is good and water is fine, for me this is not overstock because keeping 2 fish for 30 gallon tank is too much boring 🤣... damn that 15 gal per fish rule🤣

eragon rubi I agree, the owner of this obviously taking good care of them. Those keep telling overstocked overstocked how do you think the Japanese and the Chinese breed and keep their goldfish. 😂

Ann J and this aquascape is so hard to keep clean, the poop and uneaten food will go deep between the rocks, and that's he planted a lot of plants to compensate the waste in the tank. His plants looks healthy as his fish. Great job.

eragon rubi these are NOT adult fish! Eventually he will have to remove some, or they will die before they even get old. If you don't want a "boring" tank, get different fish that don't get so big or produce so much waste.

Love your set up the fish are very nice also, I have 5 in my 30 gallon, 4 fantails and 1 oranda I need to find a home soon though for two of them. Idk yet though, I want to keep them and next month I plan on getting a 45 or 50 gallon but when they are fully grown it will still be overstocked. I might just give one away, still not sure what to do I'm constantly changing my mind, your tank is overstocked but it looks nice.

I appreciate that you we're civil mannered with your comment. Most aren't when they disagree on the internet, i applaud you!

Not necessarily overstocked if it is also overfiltered with constant water changes. That tank is heavily planted and they filter the water better than a man made filter can.

That's overstocked, but your filtration looks good (over filtered?) So you should be good to go.

See these green things. They call them plants. Live plants. Did you know they eat nitrates and produce Oxygen. Makes a big difference.
@LeeDfined3 жыл бұрын
@@rollyunicorn exactly. No filtration as good as natures way. They clean the water better than people give them credit.
@rollyunicorn3 жыл бұрын
@@LeeDfined It makes me laugh when you see these people where all they have in their tank is a few rocks and then they go on about "Oh you must have 20 gallons for the first fish and 10 gallons for every fish there after" ect ect. Like if you want half a dozen fish you need an Olympic swimming pool size tank to keep them in! What you have yourself sounds good to me. Personaly I keep four fancy Goldfish in a 35 gallon with average filtration and a good mix of live plants.

Too small of a tank for the amount of fish in there. I’d keep 2 in there max. A 50+ gallon would give them an even better quality of life. And that’s the aim here
@danslenoir98154 жыл бұрын
Put white shark in the damn ocean and people will complaining the ocean is still too small for the fish
@SkepyourOwn4 жыл бұрын
?? What are you on about 😂 everyone knows that the amount of goldfish you have can’t be kept in a space that small. It’s at least 20 gallons per goldfish. These need space to grow and then being bunched together in a 30 gallon is no way of doing that. Fool
@danslenoir98154 жыл бұрын
Define 'everyone.' Of course I’m aware about the rule but it's just old and outdated. Today's filter and the medias media has improved a lot, plus if you got good water quality maintenance it also helps. Now, i have kept my 4 fancy goldfishes in the 30 gallon tank from 5 years ago and they are completely healthy, looks fine just like the fishes in the video, until this time I write the comment. No single disease or sign of sickness of them all this time. I’m not 'everyone' you referring to but at least my goldfishes living a good lives in my concern for 5 fudging years. And counting.
@danslenoir98154 жыл бұрын
The filtration and the water is well maintenanced. You act like the fishes are suffering but look at how the fishes swim. They are as healthy as olympic swimmer. Your rule is a bogus.
@SkepyourOwn4 жыл бұрын
I get all that but the more space the better. How would you feel if you were kept in a small bedroom all your life and then one day someone let you explore the whole house! You would feel free and even healthier then before. The fish will grow and 30 gallons is the small room.
