your TDP is locked. this can be changed in bios settings by changing it to extreme performance. This will allow your CPU to use 25W versus the regular 15W. Should see a minimum of 30 percent improvement in most titles.

@@mr.shorty7310 you'll have to check your bios settings and see if you can find that option. it depends on your laptop manufacturer, most impose some type of wattage restriction to improve battery life at the cost of performance.

Good evening, I believe I have the same notebook as you, Levono ideapad 3 R5 5500u, with 12GB RAM. When watching your videos, I noticed that your games run with a higher performance than mine. In some games the result was similar, but in others it was very different, such as GoW 2018, which in mine was below 25 FPS. Is there any specific configuration that makes this possible? Or some software like FSR 3, and a way to install it?

its because of your ram, ryzen APUs use dual channel RAM to boost performance, with 12 gb you have 8 gb and 4 gb, it cant work efficiently so the performance is capped
