fun little extra, with the Werewolf tapestries, casting lumos while right in front of them will change what is depicted on those tapestries. Its no hidden achievement nor does it give any treasure for as far as I can tell. As for the dragon. After doing a specific quest, a dragon will occasionally fly over head while you are exploring. I even had a moment where I was just walking past a pasture with cows, only to have the dragon swoop down and grab one of the cows, likely taking it to its lair to feed. I like hearing students and teachers talk about their schools in other country's. Perhaps if the studio is ambitious enough, they could make sequels that are set in those schools (where our old player character comes to find our new character as potential wielders of Ancient Magic, and educate us in its use) It would be a huge undertaking to expand so vastly on the wizarding world on almost untouched lore compared to the usual setting at Hogwarts, but just imagine how amazing it would be to have the wizarding world expand in such a way. Let alone get a completely other take on the use of magic in other country's.

Dude playing in other Schools would be so amazing too. Hogwarts obviously benefited of people loving to enjoy the things there they already knew and the fact it is described in such detail in the books probably helped bring it to life like this, but it would probably still make for a lot of fun.

Inside the secret catacomb where you use crucio with sebastian and omninis there's a note from Salazar that actually refences the chamber of secret and it refers to the basilisk as a beast from what I remember.

@@oscarrosado8706 I agree with that not being an Easter egg though. It's a reference as a part of the Harry Potter lore. Easter eggs are hidden, and / or obtainable by doing a specific task or travel in a specific way. This is information just in plain sight. By doing the (main) story line it crosses your path. In this video, just a few are secrets or easter eggs. The wherewolf door is a secret, the plushy Nimbler is a secret / easter egg. But the Salazar note, and the field page of the secret chamber are references.

The chamber has always been there., though. And Warner Bros confirmed you can see the entrance but you can’t enter it. (There’s a sink in the one bathroom that has a snake on the faucet) these really aren’t Easter eggs, it’s always been a thing in the wizarding world so I’m not surprised it’s in the game too

Some other easter eggs: - In the corridor off the Grand Staircase that leads up to the Gryffindor common room there is a statue of a One-Eyed Witch, which has a secret passage to Honeydukes that Harry uses in Prisoner of Azkaban. - Down a hall past the Slytherin common room you’ll find a locked gate. After unlocking with Alohomora, the gate will lead you to the Headless Hunt ballroom, which appears in the book of Chamber of Secrets. - In the prologue where you’re in Gringotts, you pass through a waterfall that washes away enchantments & hear about the Thieves’ Downfall, which appears in Deathly Hallows during Harry, Ron, & Hermione’s break-in at Gringotts. - If you’re a Gryffindor & search for Richard Jackdaw’s corpse, you’ll find a lake in the Forbidden Forest on the way to the location, & this lake is the one where Harry saves himself & Sirius from the Dementors in Prisoner of Azkaban. - In a cave under Hogwarts, you’ll find a mural of the giant squid.

You can actually fly close up to the dragon in the map, it is more about having luck by just be flying around in your broom coincidently when he flies nearby, and I was lucky enough to see it up close. Seems it is the same dragon that appears in the questline.

Eh, none of these "Easter eggs" are really hidden in-game, beyond the background stuff that is easily glanced over like the vanishing cabinet being off to the side when the Room is in "Hidden Things" form. There's nothing to really hidden when stuff literally has revelio pages to it. There's literally a sound telling you there's one nearby, and once you upgrade it, you can hear it from a mile away.

I was very pleased when I came upon a mission that turns the game into a Black and White mode if you will and it is a reference to the Deathly Hallows and the 3 brothers. The Cloak, The Wand & The Gem. I def enjoyed that small part of the game. I am always looking out for the Easter Eggs and such. Great video btw, much appreciated. Don't worry if you haven't come across the reference to the Deathly Hallows and the 3 Brothers yet. Just keep playing the game and you will eventually get to it. It's part of the main quest/Map Chamber trials. Also, a quick side note. If anyone is going for a 100% achievement, then you will have to play as all 4 houses at some point. -The Toast of the Town = Find the Map Chamber as a Slytherin. -The Gryffindor in the Graveyard = Find the Map Chamber as a Gryffindor. -The Wise Owl = Find the Map Chamber as a Ravenclaw. -The Auror's Apprentice = Find the Map Chamber as a Hufflepuff. (When I do this playthrough is when I will be looking for the trip to the Prison of Azkaban.)

1. If you find all 3 secrets in hogwarts you get an outfit as a reward, this outfit is the same that Ron had at the yull ball in goblet of fire 2. When you learn avada kedavra, the form look just like Harry's scar

What about right at the start of the game when the dragon comes in. First we can't see the Thestrals pulling the carriage, but once the dragon chomps down on the piece he had your character turns around and slowly sees them manifesting. Which is a nice nod considering you have to see death in order to see them. Nice little detail they added in, even if it was for a fraction of a second.

Near Hagrids house the rock that Harry, Ron and Hermione hid behind when they saw Buckbeak supposedly get killed in the pumpkin patch is right there in the same spot it was in the movie. Right behind the tree across the small stone wall. Idk at this point an Easter egg is just a nod at other games/movies/characters or small details added in.

Once, I heard a few NPCs wondering about Prof. Sharp's leg injury, and how it must have happened because he is an Auror, clearly in reference to Prof. Snape in the first movie. Also, the murderous armor isn't specific to that hallway, it also happens in the Trophy Room, next to the troll armor.

You missed something in the Werewolf room too. If you cast Lumos while standing in front of each of the tapestries the scene changes revealing a much darker story than what they originally showed. Out of all the secrets in the game the one I can't really figure out though is the secret room in the Gryffindor Common Room. In one corner of the common room you'll find a large clock that hides a door into what looks like a storage room with a lvl 2 locked chest. Oh and did you know that Ravenclaw is the only common room in the game where you can get into the common room from outside the castle. If you're in Ravenclaw you can land on a balcony at the top of the castle and enter through a locked door directly into the common room.

In the Gryffindor Dormitory, it was only the stairs to the girls dormitory that would turn into a slide. Girls were able to visit the boys but the boys couldn't visit the girls because girls were considered more trust worthy. Hermione mentions that she read this in Hogwarts: A History in the fifth book.

"secrets of the darkest arts" is probably not the book that Voldemort learned about horcruxes from. It is however the only book that Hermione can find any mention of horcruxes in after Dumbledore became headmaster he removed all the books about horcruxes from the library. In fact there's only one line about horcruxes in that book and it says that the author won't give instructions about them.

In fact slughorn doesn't know the spell to make them, and told Voldemort that he wouldn't tell him even if he knew. The thing Voldemort wanted from slughorn was to know what would happen if he made multiple horcruxes, which slughorn says would be very dangerous.

The dragon IS up there in the clouds. Whenever you see a dragon on the map you can actually find it flying in the world.

The dragon does fly overhead occasionally, but even on mount going max speed it's impossible to catch as far as I can tell. Also the centaurs will help you in combat if they patrol near you while you're fighting something, I had several centaur bowmen help me take out dark wizards and spiders

Ha nice. I actually usually save the centaurs from the dark Wizards. I can't tell you how many times I'll be walking along in the forest and see centaurs and dark wizards fighting. I just use my favorite signature move. Cast Accio on the dark Wizards. Then once they have been pulled to right in front of me, I cast Incendio. You would be amazed at how many enemies that instantly kills!

@@pixywings Accio incendio is an excellent combo! One of my other favorites is glacio diffendo, often one shots most things. You can extend the combo further for big big damage on high hp targets though, by doing flipendo, glacius, diffendo, bombarda. Flipendo makes them take extra damage from being crowd controlled, and frozen targets from glacius also take double damage, so it can really stack up for big hurts.

@@Xathion Yeah Glacious is also great in combos. I tend to use incendiary more often though because more enemies are specifically weak to fire. Like spiders, and the inferi can’t even be hurt unless you set them on fire first. Also you never want to cast glacious on an inferious because it puts out the fire and makes them invincible again.

My favourite Easter egg I've found is a reference to Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup: In HPQWC once you've beaten the world cup you unlock a new game mode called Queerditch where you can play on the original pitch where quidditch was first invented, full of marshland, bales of hay and net hoops.
