By the way Fuul or however you want to spell it is commonly served in the Middle East with eggs fried with sheep brains. This is not a joke. And it isn't awful or gross either.

Mikey saving money by not taking a direct flight just so he could have an excuse to spend 30 hours on an Etihad experience: *Sometimes my genius is...it's almost frightening* As you should! Yeah it's better to fly direct, but there's nothing wrong with treating yourself! A flight should be all about relaxation and calming the mind before and after a trip, if you have the time and money to splurge on a flight, do it! It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary. Also, love how Häagen-Dazs is an option, always get the ice cream bars from my local Walgreen's and never viewed it as luxurious but here we are lol

Etihad business class flight and lounge experience was awesome in Abu Dhabi, even at the height of early pandemic. I stopped in Abu Dhabi as well for a great lounge experience for around 5 hours. Food was individually wrapped and selection was limited, but still very nice. When I return to Bangkok I will use the same route on Etihad…so comfortable and pleasant! Great value as well!

Qatar Qsuites and ANA the room are both awesome and IMHO are better than Etihad for sure. Their cabin crews are so much nicer on both of them as well and the food too! I had the privilege of flying them both and I flew Etihad's FC and Buis and personally Etihad is a hard pass for me now...

It is amazing what airplanes are like now. Everything is so catered to each person. So private. I'm thinking airplanes like, you get a seat and maybe a pillow and lean back in your seat and maybe a snack or two. You, it's like being in a motel room. Maybe you can show us what the restrooms look like next time. Are they still a little cubby or are they improved like your personal space? And are there a lot? Also, it sounded so quiet. Food look good, service looked good. I think I could sleep on that kind of flight! I enjoyed seeing this.

Usually business class is considerably more expensive than economy so that's why everything is so nice and looks so good. People in the back probably got a plate of food where you can't tell what it even is lol.

This is the case only for business or first class. Back in economy there’s no privacy (the configuration is anywhere from 2-4-2 to 3-5-3 depending on the plane), the restrooms are still tiny and tight, and the food is seldom as good or generous in portions except with the more premium airlines like Singapore, Emirates, Qatar, ANA, JAL, etc.

Mike if u ever get to come back to seoul, you gotta visit "Crab 52" a new seafood buffet opened days ago in seoul. Its run by a company that also runs vikings wharf which you've already been to. Every seafood, including lobster is alive, fresh truffles and caviars are unlimited as well. Its woofin 200$ but ppl say its worth it.
