I'm glad you've enjoyed your stay in Cape Town, those small animals that laze around in the sun are called Rock Hyrax (you've probably heard the afrikaans name for it there they're called Son Dassies)

I had to look it up, but it appears the little guinea pig animal shown in this video is a dassi, or a Cape dassi. I've never heard or seen them before. The penguins are African penguins that are only seen there and in Namibia.

Hahah the salt water is intentional, it helps with inflammation (gross but useful). Every now and then they hurt a little, fine for now though! 😆😆
