I honestly think the sentiment those people have are more telling about the world we find ourselves in rather than the people themselves. We have been so hard-wired to think that a person with a large amount of money must have gotten their wealth via illegitimate means that a true philanthropist like Jimmy is more easily put under a microscope - he's rich, so there's probably a catch, right? I wonder, what would the world look like if Elon got nothing from his parent's emerald mine? Or if Trump didn't start with a small loan of a million dollars? Or if obvious loopholes used to horde wealth never existed? People wouldn't be scrutinising kindness this much, that's for sure.
