Your advice is always so realistic and that’s one of the many things I love about you and your content. These other influencers be playing us but you tell us straight: don’t do this on super dirty hair, extremely tangled hair, and use moisturizing products PERIODT. Thank you for always setting those realistic expectations out the gate, rather then making me think I did something wrong because my results were different than yours like other KZbinrs

Thank you ! I understand the struggle following a tutorial and not getting the same or even similar results assuming I did something wrong, but in all actually the video wasn't demonstrated and explain in the right manner that would work for me hair, so Im glad you see how transparent I am in my videos, I want everyone to succeed in the end.

Thanks for demonstrating that wash day doesn't have to take forever. This is similar to my approach with my hair, except I use olive oil soap to wash it, shea moisture to deep condition and vegetable glycerine or eco styler gel to moisturize. When I use glycerine by itself I just wear an undefined, fully shrunken fro. Takes less than 2 min to style and I can refresh by drenching it in the shower when I want to. Easiest routine ever and my hair is growing like weeds.

It definitely takes practice to not have wash day take all day! Even if I just cowash and style, it still takes me about an hour on a good day. This is perfect, your hair always looks beautiful!

I love your videos. Styles are always on point. Your hair is just phenomenal. #jelly Your music choice is great and you’re always straight forward and to the point. You say “Ima do my hair.” Then you just start doing your hair. It’s the best! Most KZbinrs have to tell you about their summer vacation or some other unrelated thing before they get started 20 minutes later. It’s cool to make videos about your ski trip or Easter dinner or whatever , but don’t label it a hairstyle tutorial and then we somehow end up on a Walmart shopping excursion. Your vids are my faves! Just the right chat to tutorial ratio. 😊 Keep up the good work!

Girl, I will definitely have to try this out!! My hair routine usually takes me around 4 hours each week, so if I can cut down on time in some areas , I'm for it!!! I may try this routine with the Shea Moisture JBCO line. That line seems to always give me amazing results each time I use it!! Except.the deep conditioner, it wasn't my favorite.

I try not to time my wash days and try my best to plan them for when I can take my time. I love to deep condition with heat. It's really helped my hair and I feel like I'm pampering myself when I sit under my hooded steamer. I also like to take my time detangling my hair. I'm still learning and my hair is fine, so I don't want to rip it out during the detangling process. I am able to achieve a 30 minute wash day during the summer when I do my midweek cowash and style my hair in a wash and go.

Amen! Why the hell would I wait til the day of wash day to detangle and add oils for prepoo?! Do that ish weekly and wash that hair quickly! I hate long wash days! I'm so lazy, I leave my detangled oily hair in braids and wash my scalp and hair like speedy Gonzalez and do that deep conditioner. I even leave those braids in. Girl, my wash days are a breeze. Cuz I ain't got time to worry about hair. I refuse! 😆 Love your hair!

Omg! It came out so good!! I think ima try these products on my daughters hair. She has a nut allergy and is also allergic to coconut and it seems like every product out there has them!! So I just have to make sure they are far down on the ingredients list to be sure. So I’m glad there’s something out there that doesn’t have it!

Praying for the day when I can do a 30 minute wash day 🙏🏽 Long term transitioning so it's kind of rough out here 😄 But! Surprisingly, the Double Detangling comb has made transition wash days much less tedious. Thank you for that!!!
@BubsBee6 жыл бұрын
That's great, I actually stopped using the comb but Im back to using it and seeing how it works best for me. !
@TC-gx3qn6 жыл бұрын
@@BubsBee The magic formula for me is doing a light, fingers only detangle (1 hour max), then shampoo, deep condition and after I rinse the deep conditioner out, apply shea butter and the Double Detangler really glides through the shea butter. I don't use any tools on my hair until after the deep conditioner is rinsed out.

I understand, if you want to cut down your wash days on a regular, keep your hair very neat, in twists, braids or something that ensures your hair isn't tangling so much throughout the week, so when wash day comes it will take no time at all because you hair isn't tangled up.
@briannanight83956 жыл бұрын
@@BubsBee I finally figured out how to twist my hair. Can't do braids yet but that is what I have realized will help me to have a faster wash day. Thanks for the confirmation! My mom did my hair until I was 18 (she is a licensed hairstylist). I have teenage aged skills. Just accepting what I can do and keep going because I am cheap and don't trust other people with my hair. I can do a bomb wash and go but it is not realistic for my work week.

i dred my wash days because it’s such a process well only when my hair is curly. when my hair is straight its not to bad. my hair has been straight for a little over a week now and today is wash day for me. its so much easier to deal with straight hair but i cant keep putting heat on my hair unfortunately.

Can you help me? I keep getting single strand knots during wash n gos. I did a trim but I still keep getting them, what can I do? I guess I would be 4a & 4b maybe some 3c in the back. Thank you :)
@BubsBee6 жыл бұрын
well if you have type 4 hair single strand knots are inevitable especially if you are wearing wash n go's regularly. You can not prevent that to be honest, I would say to cut down doing them so often. also with you wash n gos try not to stretch them out toooooo long, 5 days is enough for me before I notice my ends are raveling up a lot. and also don't let your wash n gos dry out, once your hair feels dry, remoisturize or wash it again.
@JadeJade3336 жыл бұрын
Also, oil the ends of your hair.
@naturallyneccc6 жыл бұрын
Inevitable 😩 ok thank you so much for responding. I just suck at all other styles besides wash n gos. I guess it’s time to learn.
@wannabe416 жыл бұрын
Bubs Bee Your advice is on point, as usual! One of the mistakes that type 4 naturals can make is to try to stretch out their wash and goes for a week like many type 3's do. Of course everyone's hair is different, but I've learned that 4 days is max, but 3 days is optimal for me with a wash and go. And because I'm low porosity, it's best for me to shampoo or cowash instead of trying to refresh with additional product because I can get product buildup. I usually restrict wash and goes for the warmer months because I can deal with having to redo my wash and go every 4 days in the winter.
