Your videos are always helping me perfect my technique and posture while rowing. That being said I did this video and one more today, and was finally able to hit the 5mile mark(my rower doesn't use meters.) 52mins of pure bliss.

I am working through your advanced series now twice a week with weight training. Finished this one and now time to step it up again as my body conditioned to it. I love all these different workouts with the follow along as my machine is an old York rower, but keeping pace with you is absolutely perfect as my digital panel is incorrect with the km series . 1 year ago, I rowed 200km for the month for charity and couldn't have done this without your KZbin series.

Nice workout! Thank you! This is quite pleasant recovery after C2 medium workout of the day. In these I try to keep decent power during interval and I am always too much exhausted. Today's workout was just right to get sweat and to get heart to pump up the blood. Your "come along" workouts are always welcome!

YES!! I did it!!! Started rowing along with you 16 weeks ago and could barely make it through beginner lol. This workout was awesome, thank you for being so motivating!
@michaelsenft36083 жыл бұрын
This is a bit of a sucker’s row - if you don’t keep up a respectable pressure on the “recovery” in the second piece, even if you have great power output during the 1 minute ‘on”, your total meters is still lower than first round with only 30 seconds of recovery. I learned lesson on round 3, and pushed recovery, so materially improved total meters to 1780 from 1697 on round 1
@KJ001003 жыл бұрын
this one was the toughest out of all your videos that I have tried. Will try again tmrw and try to keep my HR under 160. Thanks!

But not out of reach! I was very encouraged by Shane’s consistent coaching and I believe with practice I can do this efficiently. Thanks Shane!

Thanks, that’s fabulous! I look forward to rowing that tomorrow on Ergatta. I have a couple of questions to ask of you, please, if I may: 1) Which of my intensity zones do you recommend using for the pressure-on and pressure-off segments? Are they: a) On-Race / Off-Steady? Or b) On-Sprint / Off-Race? 2) If you had brought your water bottle to the workout, how often would you be drinking to rehydrate? I’m at 5,280 feet elevation in Denver, where dehydration risk is real.
