I teach at a wonderful high ‘in the hood.’ I have a powerful portable speak, and I BLAST music all up and down the hallways, on all floor, while changing classes, but when I play this… BABY, you should see the kids and adults smiling and bouncing. I was robbed a couple of weeks ago. I thank God I'm still here. For a week it left me severely hurt and depressed. But then I ran across this song. Today for the first time, I heard this song on the gospel station. It brought tears to my eye's because for the last 4 months I've been in a severe storm. The devil kept trying to make me turn on Jesus. Complete strangers would walk up to me and give me hugs and encouraged me to keep going. Christ Himself sent those people to me, and it was always an elderly woman. Ladies old enough to be my mother. And just now, when you said...."the storm is your friend".....it gave me chills, because yesterday God sent a billion dollar company to request me to be the head of their whole department. God kept me alive!!! for the longest time I blamed Him and was angry with Him. My late boyfriend passed away over a year ago. And I dove deep down into alcohol and wanted so badly to join him. Id have to say a good month went by and I binged drank. I had a job, but it was a job I could work whenever I wanted. so being drunk or going in another time was no problem for me. Until one day I just stopped and got my life together. I got a good government job and am almost a year with it. I still have my daily struggles, but I thank God for keeping me alive.

Yes Lord I listen to this service almost every day just to give God praise for his goodness for allowing me to go through the storm and bringing me out of some storms. At one point in my life I didn't know why I was going through so much tragedy from situations on the job family matters death with my daughter mother and niece brother in law. Battling depression anxiety suicidal but God. He brought me out and he is still bringing me out. I came to find this song as it was in my spirit on yesterday after the Lord delivered my family thru several severe tornadoes and Hurricane Milton in Florida on yesterday. I'm a Floridian but my husband had a work assignment that brought us to Nashville on Sunday. I was scared and anxious about my daughters, my grands , other family, loved ones and friends and their safety amidst the storm. Before the Hurricane arrived tornadoes were touching down ans brought flooding, power outages, damaged homes, and properties, mass fatalities/casualties and turmoil. When it was all said and done I was able to tell God "Lord I thaaaaank Ya!" "Thank You Lord for my life and that of the ones I love!" "Thank You Lord doe Your Mercy and Grace!' "The Storm is passing over Hallelujah!' Oh Glory to God!!!
