It kicked in the second I got there, the world was spinning. It’s nice to see realistic portrayals of how alcohol and drugs work.

Yeah, it is! I asked myself the same thing, so I looked it up. That's Nicholas Gonzalez, he's Dr. Melendez on The Good Doctor and here he plays Detective Miguel Sandoval. He is on this episode (S6E10) and another one from the same season (S6E16). He's also on Pretty Little Liars and Narcos. (And lots of other stuff.) Or so says the wiki an imdb. 😄
