He sought counsel and treatment but he was told he could not get any for free unless he committed a crime (SA), like how it is explained here. He did not want to harm children so his solution? he talked with his face not hidden on tv and made sure everyone around him knew so they could take measures to protect their kids (besides him keeping himself in check). btw dude was not in the US.
