Another reason I like single drop rigs is no extra hook flopping around when I'm unhooking a fish...I've seen and helped two guys get unimpaled. I very rarely caught two at a time anyway, and since I'm a rod in hand guy most of the time, I don't have empty baitless hook for any time at all.
@jacobraber45888 ай бұрын
I’d rather get hooked then catch less fish. Bigger fish get the singles!

Any double digit day from the surf is one for the memory books! Also, as someone whose family has mostly fried all fish we catch (we keep defaulting back after trying other methods), I can attest to the deliciousness of deep fried pompano. Peanut oil, preferred breader, and creole seasoning… my mouth waters just thinking about it.
@jimmyfumbanks60818 ай бұрын
A lot of fish are best fried . I'm guessing Pompano is one. Freshwater is definitely best fried . Not much choice in it.

Love your videos, dude! I usually watch these for the entertainment. This one had my mouth watering and stomach growling! All I could think of was fish tacos, baked fish, blackened fish, batter fried fish,,ect. All that pompano!!

if courtney was there fishing also would that have meant you could have had 3 for her and 3 for you as a limit?
@Abdullah-km8yx8 ай бұрын
Yeah because it’s “per person” so in theory he could catch 6 within size, and Courtney catch none, if game warden checks it’s okay because it appears to be “3” per person
