Here's a tip. Store blankets in your couch pillow shams instead of pillows. I keep my couch covered with a mattress protector and plush bedspread (so that my couch is fully machine washable). I keep two extra spreads stored in pillow shams on the couch, perfectly disguised as pillows. Same for the bed. Extra blankets disguised as pillows. (I line dry so having extras is important.)

This is a great set of ideas to continue decluttering! I thought I didn’t have anything left to discard and you gave me lots to unload. Thanks 😊

Hahahaaaa we are decluttering now, and (except for the specific titles) every single thing you mention is totally relevant and relatable!

What a great video. 😊 New subscriber here. 🙋♀️ I saw the wheels to your desk and realised I've kept some handles from an Ikea cabinet. I didn't like the handles so bought replacements. So, why, oh why, did I keep the ones I DIDN'T LIKE! 😂😂😂😂 🤯 They have now gone. 😅 I really like the phrase you used near the beginning: "a small tax on my focus" - what a perfect description 👌🏼It's often a collection of 'micro-annoyances' that collectively cause my overwhelm. I'm going to remember this phrase when I'm working through doom piles. Aiming to be Peaceful Priska. ✌️❤

Hey Girl! Thanks for the push to delete digital photos, I did some just now and freed up some storage and made it back to March 2023 before I wore out LOL!

That's great! I know what you mean about how tiring it can be. It's a lot to think through, so just pace yourself. You're well on your way! 🤗

Random question; would you mind sharing what size mattress you have on your daybed? I just bought a daybed for my spare room but I’m afraid a thin mattress won’t give the comfy couch feel that I’m looking for when it’s not being used as a bed.

Oh, I know what you mean. Here's the link to the one I have, and it's super comfy: shopstyle.it/l/cebK6 (Commissionable link). We've had this same mattress in the Queen size for 4 years, and it's wonderful!

I do this all the time, literally constantly (I might have a problem 😂). If things are in pretty good condition I usually sell on FBMP or just donate. I hate keeping things that are useless or I don't love...

Using FBMP to sell things is a great idea! 🙌

I'm not sure if you're referring to Cass The Clutterbug in all those quotes, but I'm pretty sure she never said any of those.

Oops! I didn't even know there was a channel called Clutterbug until today, but since looking her up, she's a declutterer, so of course I'm not referring to her. The term "clutter bug" is a very common term referring to a hoarder. Hope this clarifies. 🙏

Clutter bug is a common phrase. Been around way longer than Cass.

A great KZbin influencer calls her channel the clutter bug. Hope you’re not making fun of her.
@PriskaJordan6 ай бұрын
I'm certainly not! I'm sorry there's a connection there. I grew up hearing the term clutter bug. It's a popular term, and I didn't know there's a KZbinr who does that. I've looked up her channel, and she's a declutterer, so it doesn't really make sense that I'm using the term to talk about a hoarder mindset. Honestly, I'm just thinking through my own thought process, like there's a part of myself telling me to hold onto stuff and another telling me to let go. I hope that clears things up. 😊

Exactly what I was going to say. Clutter bug is amazing, glad that wasn't the intention ❤️

Clutter bug has been a common phrase forever, way before the influencer.
