As a former resident of Yokkaichi (Mie's largest city by population) I approve this video! Yunoyama Onsen and Mount Gozaisho are two other great places in the prefecture to visit.

Beautiful, but it looks quite expensive, doesn't seem to have much local transportation. Domo arigato

Woah! I'm so glad I came across your channel! I love how eloquent you are in your narrations. And the way you section your content is very organized. Your videos are entertaining, educational, and poetic at the same time 💖

How do you manage to visit those places? I have a local friend living in Mie and after watching your videos, it catches my interest to visit those places. I must try the Guest House Ilonggo and try volunteering work. Can't wait and hopefully Japan will open tourism soon.

In Mie particularly, I worked with the Mie Tourism Board to introduce less known places! Mie was super awesome and my only regret was not being able to showcase Mie better! Hopefully you can visit japan soon!!

Mie certainly has both! I believe many places in japan do. Maybe Kanagawa (odawara, or izu) if you want to be closer to Tokyo
