Hahah, at least your parents admit their mistake! I begged mine to convert some fiat to gold bullion in 2010 at about 1100 CAD. They laughed at me in 2014 when gold corrected almost back to that point. But they went silent ever since, as it has done nothing but climb, and now they would have got an easy triple of their investment. Definitely a store of value, but they are left holding paper junk. What's worse, they can't admit their mistake, so there's a lot of resentment and anger even though all I did was try to help them. Maybe your parents will grab a little here at all-time highs? I have a feeling the bull market is far from over.

When Venezuela crashed...did gold go down or up? Did prices go down or up? This is going to be a currency/debasement crash...just like Venezuela. The dollar will be worth nothing. Deflation? If a dollar is worth less, because they are not going to stop printing it, they will print more, you wont be able to buy anything with it. Deflated price or not...and it will not deflate to nothing, as the dollar will. Gold will be worth more because the dollar will be worth less.

It is one of the factors that shouldn't be ignored and might give us a fair warning when the price reaches unsustainable levels. Hello Mike, thanks for the video. I am not sure if the buffet indicator is valid anymore because of global debt. The exploded so much, there is just much more money around than 20 years ago. Therefore it makes sense for me, that these figures are getting more extreme.
