Best version! Iremember when listened this one for the first time. This version was in a cd demo given before a korn concert in paris in 1999 or 2000 maybe. Lot of hope in 30stm at this moment, but after the music style of the band changed too much😢. Thankd for sharing.

I honestly thought I was tripping balls or something because I've only JUST found this one online! I had this version as a teenager and I kept only finding the album version everywhere and thought this was a Mandela effect or something 😅 so glad I found this version again! And YES! WAY better!

It's a very underrated album. When fist heard The Kill when it came out I hated this band, then I discovered Welcome To The Universe and changed my mind about about them... him... since he's the writer and composer. They needed to push more with this album after they gained success whit the emo stuff. "Good art should disturb the calm and calm the disturbed " even tho their latest tracks do disturb me a lot 😂

I understand it this way: Mary represents the Church, which, as history has shown, crosses the boundaries and interferes in matters that are outside of it's subject area. "Don't they all just look the same inside" alludes to the hypocrisy of various places of worship that support something completely different from the inside than they show to the outside. In the "rape part" one finds a twisted distribution of roles. Mary becomes a symbol for "religion" and her rapist represents "Church." It is supposed to show that the church is raping its own religion. "Buddah" is considered a release from Mary's unpleasant situation.

@@christopherdixon7957 Also a very interesting train of thought everyone can interpret it differently, but in your interpretation the question still arises for me what it all has to do with Buddha or religion in general because otherwise Buddha would not appear in it. I love to see how everyone has their own thoughts about it !!!
