I didn't know about mobs not being able to jump over azalea bushes and two-side ladders. My favourite early-game trick is using a boat to drop off cliffs without taking damage. There are certain Y levels that will have you killed if you drop from them in a boat, but it hasn't happened to me yet. Also, I like to have hidden passages behind paintings. And, for keeping mobs in or out of an area, I dig one block down, plant sweet berries and cover them with carpets.

Doors for an air pocket under water doesn't work in bedrock. I figured out that if I place 2 pieces of dirt down stacked and 1 on the side of the top one then take a button, break the soil on the side with it and quickly place the button there it makes and air pocket.

Fact 1 was that in Java you can now attach leads to boats, but then he recommends using pigs to attach for ropes on bridges. Why not dig a 2X2 hole and use a boat instead? No animal noises or random rope wiggling. I used trapdoors to build a winch mechanism for my castle drawbridge and dropped boats inside to act as anchors for the leads that attach to fence posts on the bridge.

27, just use a boat instead of an animal if you don’t want to hear the animal or have the ropes move.
@odakotaroseАй бұрын
I knew 28 of these but I was just thinking, since we can attach boats to leads now, maybe that means we can make the rope parts of the bridges without imprisoning animals in holes, which makes for a lot less noisy bridges. I'm off to go test that now xD
@TribbleArtCreationsАй бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. That pig or other animal might be more helpful elsewhere....like in my belly, lol.
@TribbleArtCreationsАй бұрын
Well, just tested the ropes for bridges in bedrock, you can use boats. On other stuff I tested, the trapdoor/ladder combo is a no-go and using trapdoors to house animals, they jump right over, and can't drag boats up hill.
@odakotaroseАй бұрын
@@TribbleArtCreations I tested it in Java and you can drop a boat a couple blocks down and a few blocks away from your bridge, then attach a lead between the boat and a piece of fencing at the start of the bridge, so I think my life will never be the same lol. no more animal noises from my bridges!!!

Here are some of the facts I know that I've never seen in a compilation video. Each type of armour has its own sound name when you put it on: "rustles, clings, clangs, etc.". Only the player can go up a ladder if the bottom rung is missing, no other mob can, though the spider can climb anything. You can keep one piece of armour on when you've drank an invisibility potion and still be invisible, I usually keep my boots on for swimming in the ocean monument. You can completely overhaul a magma spawner in the bastion, and then bring the frogs there for infinite frog lights and a very fun fighting arena, I call it Maria Magmarena.

I'm pretty sure if a mob spawner generates under the mycelium biome it can still function as well, effectively bypassing the spawn rules of that biome
@neetscholar41492 ай бұрын
Mycelium biomes prevent only the way regular random mob spawning events to happen. If you bring mobs from outside, you can still breed them In a Mushroom biome. Pretty sure if you use the new potions to spawn Silverfish or Slimes, those would still work. Lightning strikes create a forced mob spawning event, so that bypasses the regular process too. Same with mob spawners. Mobs won't spawn in Deep Dark either. Would be interesting to dig out everything above a Deep Dark biome, and see if lightning can strike down there and spawn Skelly Horses.
@Flutesrock8900Ай бұрын
Also, phantoms can spawn there as well!

I knew more than expected.. I knew about the lead on the boat but didn't know the lead let the boat traverse the hills!!😮 I didn't realize the lava acted differently in nether from over world!! Neat! I knew about the trap door ladders, but didn't realize ya can offset some to have ladders on both sides!! Useful! Oh, phantoms are also afraid of cats. They may start to fly at ya but once they see the cat they retreat back to the skies. In regards to infinite water source not being doable for lava: you can put a solid lava source over some drip stone, a drip spike facing below it into a cauldron, then let the lava drip for infinite lava. Edit to add: oh, I still use fences but put carpet on top for the climb out 😅 trap doors feel like they'll invite hostile mobs in 👀 lol

Here is the kicker on the boat leads. You can make them airborne. If you have an Elytra and firework rockets, you can take of while pulling the boat. Takes a bit of practice, too sudden acceleration breaks the lead, it with a bit of a run-up it will be fine. And that works with mobs in the boat? Very nice way to transport your villager thousands of blocks.

Fact 15 is inaccurate. Mobs don't "take fall damage differently." They take the same amount of damage. However, they have different amounts of health, which leads to them dying at different height drops. @@Avomance understatement on my part for sure - humans are infinitely horrifying when it comes to the horrid things they do to animals. I actually used this tip you gave for ropes on a tent, but put boats under the soil instead of piggies. It's my new favourite detail after putting pressure plates behind doors!

Can you use the boat in the ground instead of an animal and attach it to a fence post?
@forestsandlace5996Ай бұрын
@@ds_the_rn that's exactly what I did, yes! I put the boat on a lead in a hole, put two blocks over the top to hold the boat before attaching the lead end to the fence post, then finished burying the boat. Partially burying the boat stops it springing out of the hole when you tie the lead end to the fence post.

Any bedrock player: Fact 21 doesn't work😂
@smoothaswaterАй бұрын
There were several facts in here that don’t work for bedrock.
@vladtastic5511Ай бұрын
I don't play bedrock. Java is far superior. The only thing bedrock has going for it is it can be played on a multitude of devices. As a PC player, Java for the win
@smoothaswaterАй бұрын
@@vladtastic5511 there are lots of things that bedrock players can do that you cannot do on Java. Really the only thing that is better and more predictable on Java is red stone. Unfortunately recently they have been removing abilities from bedrock to match Java for “parity” between the two games. I don’t see them adding things that bedrock has to Java that would make Java better. The most recent thing they took away from bedrock is the arrow pointing the direction you are facing when looking at a map. They should have added that to Java and not taken it away from bedrock.

@@smoothaswater While I agree there are things bedrock can do that java cannot, there are many things that java has that bedrock cannot do. Why there is such a difference has confused the player base for too long now, as there should be no difference in features (or versions for that matter). To say one is better than the other is a fruitless argument as well. Though, let's remember that Java is and always will be the original version.

I know all of them.. just fun fact about the door when mining underwater, you cannot do that in bedrock it’s only available in java.. also about the mushroom island, mobs can spawn if it is near lush cave

1, 4, 9, 12, 14, 19-21, 24 I think. I knew about leads on boats but I thought it was flat surfaces only. I knew about 2 bucket 3 hole water sources. Most of the rest I knew exactly as you showed it. I didnt know about patterning and breaking ice for water though.
