That “let things go” tip is facts. First round of the game my friend got a 4K and I was left 1v1 with defuser down and I lost us the round on awful aim… I let that shit go, ended up going 15-4 and clutching 2 different rounds that helped us win 5-4. Just letting things go helps out a lot.

Thank you so much for this video! I played this game with my brother and his friends for the first and for a long time. Then I got my own friend group from high school, so I was never lost, I was with kind ppl. When I played only with my brother, that was the time when I realized ppl can kick you out. I hated it. I would've been kicked out so many times. Now I have come back after 3-4 years of not playing the game. Alone. My ppl don't play the game anymore or don't have time etc. I was so afraid. Even though I knew that there's no kicking out anymore. But still. And after I overcome my stomach cramps and fears, I saw that we can't even see each other's levels, ranks anymore and there's this supporting system. I was so happy. I was so happy even when I was voted on as a valor or anything (even though I didn't play that well). What I'm trying to say, R6 community can be harsh for girls like me or to anymore really. My father experienced bad stuff too (his first question was: and did they kick you out?), but so far I have barely experienced any bad thing, and I'm happy I have come back and I'm eager to learn how to be better.

I play on Xbox and Me personally don't want to "broke" the controller pressing the thumbstick to lean so I change the button now I lean on LB to left | RB to right and I crouch on right thumbstick like a normal game and that's a such good thing, my aim are improving and my movement too

I played siege from day 1 before the seasons even started, I remember yacht, buck and frost being added in season 1. We eventually got a solid 5 man together and got plat every season up, we stopped playing around year 4ish and I'm just getting back into it over the last couple of weeks, forgot how toxic the community was. Full of smurf accounts who get mad when you aren't as good as they are. Would love to get a solid team together again

Thats called imaging. Imaging is a headphones ability to accurately reproduce the location of audio. Just because a pair of headphones is expensive does not mean it has good imaging. Audiophile and Headsets have good imaging because audiophiles WANT good imaging because when you listen to live performance recording good imaging in addition to soundstage give this 3d effect where the crowd is behind you and the band is in front as well as the location of drummer, guitarest, pianist being letf right and center. Likewise headsets have good imaging because in games especially competative games postional audio is important. Consumer headphones are much more likely to have bad imaging because your average consumer just buys headphones to listen to music and such and isnt going to notice these small details. Although that has changed in the last few years since technology has advanced and adding good imaging benifits consumers while also not adding too much additional cost and helps sell headphones much like how modern cars incorperate race features because it helps efficiency I still wouldn't treat it as a guarentee. Tl'dr expensive does not mean good.

I bought a strike pack, but I do not use it for the cheats. I use it for the paddles that came with it. It was relatively more affordable that a scuff controller or another paddle system

A little added tip for the controllers: Get a wired controller. I've recently switched off vsync and put on performance mode. Even tho my monitor isn't 120fps capable I notice a big difference in the steadiness. But i have noticed a weird input lag in the very beginning of rounds (specifically droning). I plan on getting a wired controller or at least a long enough cord to plug mine in lol. And in my experience, I hated Scuf controllers. They're cheap, I end up not even using the paddles cause I'm so used to claw. I squeeze the paddles on accident if anything. But I will say getting a Scuf made me realize I like the domed & raised right stick. Glad you mentioned kontrol freaks because I need to cop some more lol

Another thing I do is I give callouts to myself. Sometimes saying something makes you critically think and take the smartest or most precise action. My brother thinks I’m crazy but aye I’m dropping kills and land top of the leader board ever match.

Another tip (idk if he missed it) buy something for backpaddles weather its a cheap controller or a strike pack invest in back paddles, reason for this is to take your head off the head level and sometimes get the first shot off and you don't have to take your thumb of the stick to crouch

5:13 I copied a champ 1 sensitivity and I went from dying every round in unranked and getting zero kills to not really having to worry about recoil and dropping 11 kills and 3 deaths very consistently. I guess you could say it’s personal right, but if you play on a lower sensitivity and your using anything other than classic rotation. You aren’t going to preform very good, you’ll have a hard time controlling recoil, and you will have a hard time making small adjustments. I have a really high sensitivity, (85 horz) but my ads is like 18. On classic rotation too, it changed everything. I mean it, I was absolutely dogshit couldn’t kill anything. Couldn’t control anything. I’m good now

Yea that whole don’t be scared thing I was scared to try and clutch and rush out of the bomb area as a defender I watched a video on more confidence and it worked I now go outside of the bomb areas and the guy also talked about fight or flight and said if you want to get more confident it’s best to take the fight option I was playing Yeager today and I had the fight experience for once my teammates had knocked an enemy and I was behind one and killed him and I was out of ammo in my primary and I whipped out my secondary and killed the knocked and the other enemy was right there carelessly rushing me from around the corner and I practically killed him instantly winning the small 1v2 clutch and that just boosted my confidence even more and I’ve been taking more gunfights than usual these past couple days and I’ve been starting to get better and improve a good bit

Some feedback from me - I wouldn’t personally classify ‘play with good players, not friends’ or ‘practice every day’ as tips. I play the game for fun, but also play to get ranks and I feel like focusing on getting one game a day can cause it to be stressful so I’d say play when you want to. Also for this reason, I would say play with who you enjoy playing with, not just because they are good at a game. Plus saying to become friends with completely random strangers because they are good isn’t really a tip, nor is it good advice to give.

If there's no one speaking in game chat, the chances are they are in party chat and can't hear a word your saying. This is why I don't callout or even use my mic while playing, infact I MUTE half my games. If they callout, then OK, I'll try to help but if they're yelling the n word every 2 seconds and playing there f-in tiktok videos at 1000% volume and b-tchin about how other players play, then f- em'. Either then that, callouts with players in a party your not in is kinda pointless. Pings > Callouts.
