I live in a tent... unfortunately, and I am always looking for new hacks such as the ones you have posted. I love the septic toilet. We call ours "the bucket". My boyfriend cut a bucket in half and dug a hole in the ground. The bucket is now partly in the ground and partly sticking up with a pool noodle around the top edge. It is pretty comfortable and really isn't cold when it's cold outside. It's really a great idea to add the noodle. Try sitting on the bucket without it! Uncomfortable as heck! Love your hacks!
