I remember watching this show when I was a kid. Back then it really creeped me out and made me feel uncomfortable watching it at some moments. The episode "Dark Harvest" in particular grossed me out, and still does, despite the fact I love the Saw series and several other gory horror movies. For some reason animated organs and gore grosses me out more than realistic organs and gore. Go figure. But now I've come to appreciate the series for it's uniqueness and interesting art style. Jhonen Vasquez really made something special here and I hope the movie will be a success.

@@Vanityroseismybeauty Well, Johnen didn't need to confirm that. Zim is well over 50 years old as stated in "Tak: The Hideous New Girl". Besides, most IZ shippers just age Dib and Gaz up a bit, especially that it makes the most sense from a storytelling standpoint, or just rewrite the canon so Zim is a kid and ages at the exact same rate as Dib and Gaz (which fits his character a ton if you ask me). Also, it's not a crime to ship two characters, and I think you're phrasing it wrong.

I am a Christian, but I don’t think this show is unchristian. Sure, it can be dark and creepy, and no child shall ever see that dark Harvest episode EVER (I’m a teenager and even I can’t watch it), but I don’t see how it’s unchristian. It’s creepy, but they never go against anything Christian. I love this show, except for a few episodes, and watch it on a daily basis. It’s so unique and creative and the fandom is so unique and creative and it’s just an awesome show!

If only adult swim had premiered before Nick took hold of Invader Zim. The creator has even stated himself that. Zim could've gone on air possibly longer or maybe not, but I doubt we would've gotten the comic series if the show hadn't been canceled. With how todays society is, there is less hope of Invader Zim making a come back as a series and even if it did, the current Nick team is not the same as the old Nick team that worked on the show. It looks like the newer one broke a few rules when it came to how the creator wanted the universe drawn. But either way I think the new team did a pretty good job. I'm still hoping a continuation of Zim is a very possible thing in the future.

I loved Invader Zim always have from day 1. I watch The Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom and The Most Horrible X-Mas Ever every October and December respectively. I also love how the video said that Zim eats Waffles was unaired even though every episode of Invader Zim ran on Nicktoons Network for years after its cancellation.
