Yea I've been playing 8 years, fully free to play, and even with the updates, everything except 8/9 cards i never use, are atleast level 13, majority 14/15. Play consistently and get all 2/3 evo shards a season, win every challenge for points/emotes/magic items, join a good clan, and it gets pretty easy. The daily challenge and lucky box rework must be heaven for lower players now

One unwritten rule I have always followed and still follow is when you are at the trophy gate in a new arena, and face someone who is in the arena below yours, just give them a free W. Helps a ton with progression and road to 9k. Do it especially when you're at 9k (I reached).

Fun video, here are a few things I disagree on: Nr 4: If you have a good starting hand, then pekka or lavahund firstplay can be the best thing you can do Nr 6: Spells are sometimes more important then the wincondition, you don’t want a poisen that can’t kill a Musketier for example Nr 12: If you want to create your own deck then do that first and then decide which tower troop work best with that deck, not the other way around. Nr 18: I agree but you should also buy all the cards for gold, especially the legendarys Everything else was pretty good. I really liked the timer in top left corner🤭

As a f2p player, i always prioritise books before Evolution Shards, its going to take 3 months to get an evolution anyways. Even if you get a super OP evolution, it's likely going to get nerfed soon, so you'd only really want to get Evolutions of card you like, or Evolutions that aren't broken. In which case, there's no huge rush

I somewhat disagree with no dropping heavy cards early in the game. Done it many times and people have tried to push the advantage before they are ready. Sure they get a little damage in but they are now at 0 and you have a 3 crown capable unit on the field. If you have low cost cards in your hand while playing you can really trip up the over confident

If pekka is a win condition why not megaknight its not a main wincon you can't win if he's the only wincon but he is way to win the game. Like sparky is a wincon but you have to play a giant with it to make it work. Same with mega knight you need cheap bait cards to get them to waste their kiting troops for the knight.
