Man that horse is beautiful. And I know the video is about the horse but there's something about watching a shoe be handmade from a straight piece of metal. Awesome work.💪

beautiful red leopard. Awesome work. I grew up in a small town in Germany, and my pony had her shoes hot-fitted every time. It was a thing back then. I walked her through two villages, and the blacksmith/farrier's shop was downtown on a cobblestone road. Miss those days. None of this is left, I was told.

My complements! 🎉To me, being a farrier is an awesome combination of artist & strongman...😊 Artist in that you literally convert something that looks like a hoof into a real one...the same for new shoes....the "strongman" is the sheer physical effort to do both...last but not least, the love of horses & the way you relieve their distress & make them new again...that is why I subbed...May God bless you & all those who do this necessary work....😊

These old horses deserve the best treatment in the world! And I got the urge to slather that hoof in some good hoofoil after. Beautiful result, and I'm sure that horse feel a lot more comfy. I could tell they really appreciated the care! As someone whos had horses in their 30s and late 20s I know all to well how the hooves change with age, and how important hoof care is for their overall health and wellness. No hooves no horse. Amazing job as alway! Thank you for sharing!

I have not been around horses for 30 years and I find these videos fascinating. Even back in the day I had no idea of the almost unlimited types of problems farriers have to manage. Hard to believe what many horses suffer especially given the unrelieved weight on their hooves. As I have said, surgeon, engineer, artist all part of being a farrier's vocation.
