Wow, that was 30 years ago? I remember the quake like it was yesterday.

I had just moved to an adjacent city and I remember having to crawl to the doorway because it was shaking so hard and so long that I couldn't get up. My roommate was freaking out so much I had to crawl over to offer them comfort. Crazy night. We went outside and you could see a fire in the distance and every single chimney had collapsed.

I remember this very well, I lived in Simi Valley!

I could remember this earthquake because as sad as it seems, it was the only time i remember my mom ever hugging me.

We live in Venice we were on the second floor. We felt it well some items felt and got broken.. We were lucky that our cat woke us up a few minutes prior.

I lived in newhall in Valencia off lyons ave I was just a kid using the restroom half asleep in my parents house when it happened 😂 that was my first time feeling a earthquake and my worst experience as well I had vertigo for months

This is also the anniversary of the big bear/lander quake that whole day we were having problems because it was going up and down the San Andreas fault hitting all three locations it's what doctor Lucy Jones said at the time

I lived on the Tampa /Lassen. The epicenter. I was catapulted to the sealing and right back on to mattress.

Feb 9, 1971. I believe that's what you are remembering. I was in that one too. I wasn't in the '94 one, we had left Los Angeles in '75.
