Hello Darren, Are you going to be watching King Charles Coronation ? Can you possibly do a video on what to serve for breakfast, about 6am, when friends come together to eat. Planning on serving Buttery Crossants and Everything Crossants with a variety of different flavored cream cheeses, Fresh Fruit, and tea. Would love to do a Scottish Egg, but I am not sure. For all of our Brit friends , we pronounce Basil the way we go on this side of the pond because the English word comes from the Italian word Basilico.

Sure, Basilico is the Italian word which in turn comes from "Basileus" which was the Eastern Roman Emperor, or simply Emperor in Greek. It is really the King (Emperor) of all herbs!

I have 3 questions: 1. Who serves the tea? Is it prepared first in the kitchen? Or can Royals prepare and pour it themselves? 2. Do different royals have favourite plates, teacups, mugs etc they like to use? Or do they just use what is provided? (I'm assuming branded crockery at the least like Royal Doulton?) 3. I've heard Princess Catherine of Wales cooks for her family herself. How does that work? For example, does she inform the staff of what groceries she'll need? Do the Royal chefs fill in when she's too busy? I really admire her for cooking for her own family! Thank you for all your hard work making these videos. I love the anecdotes about the Royal Family. You're always positive, respectful and kind. And Winston is a darling!

Hi Darren, I've been trying to get your e-books but when it asks for my address, as I'm in the UK, (near Sandringham!) it won't let me through. It can only accept a US address with a zip code. I tried to use my daughter's Arizona address but, as my payment card has a UK address, I still can't order them. Thanks for the wonderful videos. My family loves your recipe for Irish stew and chicken and dumplings. I am new to cooking and would appreciate some help with a question. I found that sometimes the meat is perfect on these dishes and sometimes the meat it is somewhat tough. Would slow cooking longer help soften the meat or make it dryer? Or possibly I am cooking it at too high a heat or for too long? Thanks again.
