As long as the birds are getting picked up , I don’t mind pickers standing near me, often have a chat with them . Well done 👏👏

That was so well done ! Raven getting lost was very funny commentary. Youngest dog learning to be steady was nice to watch. Little shit lol Every time you say Raven , River bobs on the R sound but stays steady impressive. One scene with a duck Raven shakes water on River who moves away didn’t want to get wetter lol . Opening drive when every dog has a bird was classic. My 6 year year old black lab seems to gather some cock birds so that wings completely cover his eyes , a true blind retrieve. He still comes directly to me on voice or whistle and runs right past me if I stay silent , I think that shows his trust in me. Thanks again for a great video and further explanation of how things are done . 😊

Honestly thank you so much for this. Just starting to get involved. Been beating twice without dog and one shootover training day (rough shooting) with my GSP (first gundog) so this no nonsense video with clear explanations is invaluable. Really appreciate it! love your labs of every colour- amazing!!!!!!!!! hard enough to keep my eye on one dog. Looks like a fab day!

Loving the longer videos, thank you 👍 . Glad to see you stood well back from the guns, nothing more off-putting than someone just a few feet behind you .👍👍

We are only ever close to the guns if there is no option (I.e. fencing means we have to have a picker up front and one further back). 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Celine, you talk to your dogs like i do mine in the garden and meadow. My townie neighbours think i'm a bit mad, but i get more sense from my dogs than i ever do their kids!

And the way you do your videos they are a lot better than the short ones and you can see a lot more stuff.

It’s ethical to retrieve all shot birds, plus not retrieved means revenue to the shoot is left for foxes or goes rotten

so, cant dispatch birds on water with gun? being a duck hunter in Australia it can be hard work on dog to swim down a wounded duck
