Second mistake is amount of hunters, you should of had three with that much ripe meat. Third mistake dogs! Make those old dogs earn their keep. Get some terriers (hint : you already use their name you twice losing hun!)you won’t regret it! Now for the good. Right rifle and caliber. You moved when you realized you were wrong. I assume you did not trail them as you did not have neighbor’s permission! Keep it up you won a fifth generation Texans sub.

To be fair most feral hogs aren't good eating only the small one's are worth eating the big huge ones are horrid taste awful and make just about anyone gag when trying to process them.
