What happens if all the players are spawned on the center of just one island that has four to five different biomes. Will they share their resources through trade or will they go to war to obtain monopoly on wool, iron or sand.

"The plains leader thinks that Bry is the bad guy, because he thinks that it's his fault that ZombieKiller is dead, which is not true because, yes he asked Erkku to do it, but it was still Erkku's choice." This is gonna blow your mind, but get this: if you convince someone to commit a murder, _you're responsible for that murder_ regardless of who committed it. Being an accomplice to a crime is still a criminal act, regardless of if you directly committed the crime or not. The only way you can get out of that is if you were un-knowingly involved, which isn't a claim that can be made here, as the perpetrator blatantly placed the hit. On top of this, an isolationist nation would be _no threat_ to a unification project even if they choose to continue their isolation, as people who never leave their borders, aren't going to attack anyone unless they're _intruding on that isolationism,_ so even from a political angle there was no justifiable reason for Bry's actions. In other words, the guy is _blatantly_ a villain. There's no way to slice it where they aren't without simply being uninformed.

No it really doesn’t, it’s caused by people who want to start a war. There is all the benefit in diplomacy and trading, but ideology is what sets them apart. @@oblivion9619 Don't forget these civilizations videos are so frelling basic. There is no actual need to do trade or make alliances, so war is the inevitable conclusion. That or world peace, not out of any real benefits but because people just want to do world peace.

@shadowofhawk552 жыл бұрын
@@MistahMeiHeiLick I mean, it depends. Like for instance prebuilding a world shouldn't affect the performance as this is stuff that already existed. And it also depends on how good the server and the player set ups are. For the quick record a week, edit, post videos style content yeah, it'd be frelling hell. But something like what RyanNotBrian's group did with their medieval server, a long lasting server that spans more than just a week would warrant more investment. Something like that, with what you describe (the roles and the pre build maps with certain resources in certain places) and maybe subbing out their weapon mod for Tinkers Construct, I could see that being pretty good.

I love how literally every single one of these ends up being the exact same. Add some frelling mods to make things like Commerce and food matter. Make a world from the ground up so that some regions have better metals than others and use whatever mod as the Tinkers Construct tools.

I have an idea for a future experiment. You place 100 players inside a town, give them jobs they need to do to keep the town running (Power station, police ,shop keepers ETC) let them do their thing for awhile and then add zombies into the mix (Zombies that kill in one hit, and can break blocks and tower up) The idea is that the players will stop going to work and their society they built will crumble and anarchy will rein. DON'T TELL THEM THERE WILL BE ZOMBIES. LET THEM FIGURE IT OUT ON THEIR OWN

This was so much fun to watch. Obviously a lot of these events were pre-planned and somewhat scripted but having so many people join, means that ultimately its still technically random, with many ideas having to be evaluated for the best storyline. Good job coordinating and capturing everything!

I just got accepted into s3 and from what i can tell its not really that scripted? If people are going to do a massive plot thing they have to get approval so you cant just go around killing people

I really love these types of videos, but I always have one issue. I would love to see one with a bunch of mods, and also where people can slowly respawn, or at least repopulate in some way, to follow the track of how an actual civilization might grow. Would also love to see a system where building certain structures would give you certain buffs (for example like building a statue for a leader grants a team bonus damage buff) to encourage building actual nations and cities.
