What zombie did was incredible. Going from probably one of the lowest ranking players ever, to becoming the leader of all the nations it a pretty hard thing to do, but somehow, zombie managed. I'm sure had he been killed by the snow nations leader, things would not only be longer, but very different. Congrats to him.

Bryx had a good idea in uniting the world, but he immediately tainted it by trying to forcefully “remove” Zombiekiller as an obstacle. He tore the Swamp Nation in half with that move, and scared Plains Nation enough they turned on him, starting a war that wiped out a decent chunk of the Waste Nation army.

Notice how both the Zombies wanted to just live alone and not have to deal with any, but because one controlled power from the start he was eliminated straight away, but the one who slowly built his power up with the same mindset was slowly able to finish the plan both zombies had in mind.

I always find it weird that people in these experiments are always divided up and made to live on four different islands. What happens if all the players are spawned on the center of just one island that has four to five different biomes. Will they start one big civilization or will they split up and form smaller groups located in different areas. Will they share their resources through trade or will they go to war to obtain monopoly on wool, iron or sand.

Also some areas would not habe population and would have vast resources, it would be interesting to watch how civilizations would form given the similar starting senarios of the irl world

"The plains leader thinks that Bry is the bad guy, because he thinks that it's his fault that ZombieKiller is dead, which is not true because, yes he asked Erkku to do it, but it was still Erkku's choice." This is gonna blow your mind, but get this: if you convince someone to commit a murder, _you're responsible for that murder_ regardless of who committed it. Being an accomplice to a crime is still a criminal act, regardless of if you directly committed the crime or not. The only way you can get out of that is if you were un-knowingly involved, which isn't a claim that can be made here, as the perpetrator blatantly placed the hit. On top of this, an isolationist nation would be _no threat_ to a unification project even if they choose to continue their isolation, as people who never leave their borders, aren't going to attack anyone unless they're _intruding on that isolationism,_ so even from a political angle there was no justifiable reason for Bry's actions. In other words, the guy is _blatantly_ a villain. There's no way to slice it where they aren't without simply being uninformed.

wow im impressed! I have watched as many of these civilization videos as i can get my hands on and every single one of them has ended in war- often due to each team wanting peace but becoming convinced that a different team was planning war, until someone finally breaks under the pressure and tries to get in the first strike, unaware that their target also wanted peace but suspected war as well. Its nice to see a happy ending for once. im impressed by how well this turned out!

i feel like this setup always leads to war as there is no benefit of diplomacy or trading. What if every nation would be able to craft or mine a specific essential thing that other nations can? this will encourage cooperation in the beginning at least.

World objectives should be given (not only elect a king, create a civilization). The team that manages to achieve more goals win. Some goals might be too hard alone, therefore "alliances" are a must - at the same time, we don't want for the leading enemies to win
@luigimrlgaming9484
@luigimrlgaming9484 Жыл бұрын
No it really doesn’t, it’s caused by people who want to start a war. There is all the benefit in diplomacy and trading, but ideology is what sets them apart. If they were true nations they would most likely live quite peacefully with minimal contact beyond trade. Because their fake nations, people are willing to take unnecessary risks and play it like Stellaris so they can paint the map.

@@MistahMeiHeiLick I mean, it depends. Like for instance prebuilding a world shouldn't affect the performance as this is stuff that already existed. And it also depends on how good the server and the player set ups are. For the quick record a week, edit, post videos style content yeah, it'd be frelling hell. But something like what RyanNotBrian's group did with their medieval server, a long lasting server that spans more than just a week would warrant more investment. Something like that, with what you describe (the roles and the pre build maps with certain resources in certain places) and maybe subbing out their weapon mod for Tinkers Construct, I could see that being pretty good.

I have an idea for a future experiment. You place 100 players inside a town, give them jobs they need to do to keep the town running (Power station, police ,shop keepers ETC) let them do their thing for awhile and then add zombies into the mix (Zombies that kill in one hit, and can break blocks and tower up) The idea is that the players will stop going to work and their society they built will crumble and anarchy will rein. DON'T TELL THEM THERE WILL BE ZOMBIES. LET THEM FIGURE IT OUT ON THEIR OWN

I really love these types of videos, but I always have one issue. I would love to see one with a bunch of mods, and also where people can slowly respawn, or at least repopulate in some way, to follow the track of how an actual civilization might grow. Would also love to see a system where building certain structures would give you certain buffs (for example like building a statue for a leader grants a team bonus damage buff) to encourage building actual nations and cities.
