"If it wasn't a food a hundred years ago, then it's not food today. " Man this sentence is everything

By cutting carbs I shed a lot of excess fat. Coupled with a diet of natural, healthy, unprocessed food & functional exercises such as calisthenics then you cannot go wrong. The spartans performed calisthenics.

I am fit myself but not ripped. I party at night and eat a lot of unhealthy stuff; beer, soda, fatty foods, sugary foods, carbs. Then the next day, I look flabby and fat. I eat healthy and work my heart out the same day, then the next day, after a few pushups and situps, I look like the spartans in 300.

You're probably young, that's why. Your metabolism can do a lot more than when you're 40 or 50.

Drinking 4 liters of water every day is ok when you live in hot California and also getting it for free. We in Europe have few sunny warm days and have to buy water from Nestle. That‘s why I prefer wine😅

did he say no carbs at night? Yeah broscientist spotted.

Depends on wether one wants to loose or gain weight. In katabolic terms it is very important to leave out the carbs at night , so your insulin level is low ,

+Javier Tejel Labrador I've played with my carb intake before, and in my case cutting carbs out of any part of my day was a mistake. It leaned me out to the point that none of my jeans fit. I had no ass. I had no thighs. My arms practically disappeared. I looked 12 again. Could see all my abs and was veiny though (whoop-dee-doo). Stopped getting looks from girls. Got weak as fuck. Had no energy to really train hard or often. Funny, now I don't pay too much attention to what I eat and I get so much more out of training. I basically eat a pound of meat or sometimes more per day, starchy vegetables, beans/rice, and every bit of it covered with butter. Easily 5-6 cans of Pepsi per day. Fitter than ever and still fairly low bodyfat (no bodybuilding competitions in my future though).

what does "recovery" mean? are you not supposed to work out everyday?
@siddhaantsaagar71307 жыл бұрын
Yohan Blitz Recovery can be taken care of even if you workout daily.( 6 days a week).. Then it basically constitutes the daily sleep. AND acc. to Mark Twight u can make a great body even if you don't workout everyday. In one Soldier of Steel epispde of his, he talks about working out just 4 days a week and that too only for around 45 mins a day. Here also he is talking about alternate days of 'truly' working hard and having less strenous days in between.
