I believe that gvm is as u say ,it's made with half tank of fuel and only driver,so with full tank and more that one person u will have to take 500 kg off tow weight, we have newbies come in to weight bridge for tickets for paperwork, more than half are over weight, van to big ,wish that hmvr put limits to tow ball weight ,which will stop all the bull ,

But its okay to re rate the front axle based on fitting your springs and shocks, a little hypercritical.
