Annoys me that people think it was just 300 Spartans at the battle of Thermopylae. 7000 greeks fought there and died. Around 5,000 retreated due to the persains flanking becuase of a traitor, wich lead to 300 Spartans 400 Thebans and some Athen's stayed behind to cover the reteat. Thus not just spartans

Interesting fact: Persia won the battle of Thermopylae in the Persian Wars due to a Athenian traitor who showed them a secret passage way giving them the upper hand against the last 300 Spartans who faught to their deaths letting the Athenians escape and live to fight in the battle of Salamis (the last 300 spartan soldiers inspired the movie "300")

He baron I found the secret to placing lots of units on one battle. All you have to do is spread them out I have a potato computer and it an handle upwards of 1200 units that way.

Volatile 100 Yeah, the 300s Spartans were blown out of proportion. The total invading army of Persia was of 100000, but only 10000 immortals fought against the 300s. The other Persian soldiers (the surviving others) fought against 1000 Oplites. Both the 300s and the 1000 were covering the retreat of their allies after all of them endured 2 days of costant battle. So the real 300 battle lasted under a day, with almost another 2 days of fighting before that.
