If Goku traveled to the world of Attack on Titan, he would find himself in a dark and dangerous world where humanity is on the brink of extinction due to the threat of Titans.

We made a rule that we nerf Goku to make the idea more interesting and not have him be overpowered and beating everyone, by him being nerfed, Whis took away his abilities and with each new universe he gets one of his abilities back. And Goku didn't forget his abilities, he's just not able to use them due to Whis taking them away. We just made this rule so the idea would be more entertaining story wise
