Of all the Watchtrader & Co videos that we have had the chance to watch, this is certainly one of the most touching. To see a certain form of innocence in the face of a man as seasoned as Hendo is endearing, almost disarming. The expression ''like a child in a sweet shop'' takes on its full meaning here. The joy, excitement, exultation and delight of our favorite White Wizard is indicative of the larger than life character he is. Despite his ecstasy, he never loses his eloquence, his joy in sharing information, his affability and his affection for Harry. Hendo is an authentic person, both solid and softening. Definitely the lifeblood of Watchtrader & Co. At first, I was delighted with the long duration of the video and... it went by faster than a gust of wind! What? Already finished? I didn't even have time to swallow! The smile never left my face. My coffee is still on the kitchen counter... I tell ya, as much as I love it when we stay in our darling cozy pub-like store, as much as I appreciate it when the gang goes outside, especially to bring us to an Ali-Baba cave like this. Come to think of it, it's a chance that my attention was riveted to the screen to the point of not having had time to get my coffee: I would certainly have choked on it when Hendo saw from the corner of his eyes the Belstaff leather jacket... In the same burst of wonder, I am glad to hear there's a second part next week. I'll make certain to get my coffee before the start. I think popcorn is also in order...

Have just come across this channel and loving the content. Flippers and the Delusional Grey Dealers (i.e. the ones who offer ridiculously low and sell ridiculously high) would be quaking in their boots. The big lessons I am seeing - 1. Don't buy other watches (including non-hyped Rolex) from the AD as a relationship builder 2. Watches are not an investment... if you are planning to get into the flipping game you've got to buy and sell in the same market. A lot of people have clearly been burnt having jumped on the February 2022 peak thinking this was all going to keep rising.

@@connorw808 remember they have to pay for the upkeep on their shop, electricity bills, staff, production for their videos, credit card fee’s on transactions and likely others hidden costs. So it’s not like they’re walking away with 3k clean profit, it’s probably more like 1k clean profit after all over heads.

As a vintage watch guy this episode for me was the best yet! The two Bulova´s were fantastic. I kick myself to this day for passing on a mint Bulova RO a decade ago when I lived in Canada and thought $200 was too much. I now see mint examples selling for ten times that! The Omega Montreal as a vintage quartz lover is on my bucket list, these are steadily rising deservedly so. I have several 1970´s quartz, my prized examples are GP´s first production quartz and a stunning Certina LCD with oversized digits. I love the Lip with the EPSA Super Compressor case. I also collect EPSA cased divers and have an example of each case style. If your looking to step into vintage I really recommend looking for an EPSA cased watch as the cases are beautifully made and if you go for a single crown style you can get real bargains, look out for Enicar, beautifully made watches and still in single crown EPSA style a bargain for the money! What a wonderful episode!

Respectfully when I see staff wearing a watch for sale it turns me off the grey market. You don't get that in an AD. I am surprised how many Grey Market dealers put this up on KZbin without realising how bad it looks.
