I swear, the cameraman knows his onions! He’s always adding or even correcting what the guys say. It’s obvious that the cameraman is a watch person first and a cameraman second.

Do you guys use loctite thread locker when changing out links? I’ve heard horror stories of bracelets coming undone and people losing their watches so I always ask for the thread locker to be used.

That must be incredibly rare, not something to worry about. Thanks for watching

Great show guys. Couldn't part with my Reverso for so little, especially when it only bought about 1/3rd of a 36mm Explorer. Frank Muller not my taste but felt for the lady. She thought she had a lot more value than it turned out. Fair play to you guys for being transparent about your buying prices. The lesson I'm taking is leave watch trading to the professionals when you get into the luxury range.

We will always try and get the most value for the seller, but the market determines the pre-owned prices and you have to be realistic. Thanks for tuning in as always and have a great week

Selling the 5513 that was left to you by your grandad, not cool man. Especially if it’s just to trade to something else. Different if your in a jam.

Exactly, shocking ... not only was it his grandfathers but a 5513 meters first is a total belter of a watch, tbf it's the perfect vintage watch. Grandpa turning in his grave.

Thanks lads. I've also started wearing 34mm and 36mm watches as they fit so well under shirt cuffs. Leave the bigger stuff for the summer and t shirt weather

Agree, I have over 7 inch wrists and still like vintage 36mm as well as the bigger modern divers . Classic look and there's great deals to be had at that size

Which would you go for ? 1) solid gold 36mm day date with presidential bracelet and champagne diamond dial made the year I was born (1995) ? (£17k) 2) brand new 41mm date just bi colour with jubilee bracelet and champagne diamond dial ? (£13.8k) Just FYI I have big wrists and can wear 45mm dial without it looking oversized

Another corker episode. I know JB champion made 14 K bracelets for the American market for Rolex and that if you look on the bracelet, you should find JB marked on there. I also know that they made bracelets for Omega for the speedmaster very collectable now. If you look at the movement, they should be stamped ROW which is the stamp for the American importer, which should be on American market Rolexes of the time. I am not sure but I think the case also may have been US made. I would imagine they were doing this in the 50´s/60´s for the same reason my 1950´s Omega has the case made by the star watch case company of Canada. Both the US and Canada at the time had punitive taxes against overseas goods to protect the home market. The way watch companies got around this was either to have the cases and bracelets made in North America thus not selling whole watches that way avoiding the sales taxes or as was the case with Longines and Nivada they had separate North American brands in the form of Wittnauer or Croton. I am so glad Hendo got the GF bracelet!
