Snake plants are cool, don't give up. If they don't get much sun they need at lot less water. You can kill them by overwatering. Take a look at the soil, if it's not bone dry or the pot is noticably lighter, you can ignore it. If you are caring and like to be very attentive with you plants (which can come with a tendency to overwater), use an old make up brush to dust them instead. For replanting use succulent soil or anything that does not retain water well. Love the look of the light fixture in the second room.

heya! love your taste and design! small heads up as a graphic designer, if you have photoshop you can actually use the AI selection tool or the clone stamp brush to continue the wall or carpet patterns and erase the furniture which will save you a hell of a lot of time if you ever plan to do this again!

yeah i’m aware lol, i’m just stubborn + autistic, and i have a hate hate relationship with photoshop 😅 maybe i need to start working on that…

This is great, but as other's have mentioned, you really need a rasterized software for this, if you don't want to keep feeding adobe something like Afinity Designer is great. Although if you have Illustrator chances are you already have Photoshop. Just take the time and watch a couple of tutorials on it, you just need the basic. I think you could easily save a great deal of time with it as supposed to Illustrator

yeah i’ve got photoshop, i just don’t like it and i’m stubborn, so i avoid it at all costs. although i imagine if i actually learned how to use it, i might like it better lol 😅

@@anticapitalisthomedesign I totally did that for a while... but I gotta say... you'll fucking Love generative fill in photoshop if you give it a shot, it's perfect for some of this mock-up stuff and saves so much time. I've been using it a lot at my "day job"

I really liked this idea of low/high, but didn't care for watching you clean up the images and I was getting whiplash by the random images whizzing by. But liked the concept and the results.

totally valid & i intend to do these virtual makeover videos in a cleaner style in the future (it’s been bugging me too lol). i have limited time to film the talking-at-the-camera portions right now, so i’ve chosen to do this in a way where i don’t have to film much for these videos & i can do the actual makeover part separately, if that makes sense
