Looking good! We are doing a reno, too. New bamboo floors, shiplap type ceiling treatment and tearing down a wall. Doing the stairs with new railing as well. Thinking I will want new furniture and will definitely need to find area rugs. Been waiting a long time to start this and now just want it done!

The color palette in contrast to the accent wall of the TV is a hit! Btw, I love the finish and design of that rug. It looks very nice. I've always had a lot of trouble deciding when choosing a suitable rug for my living room. Now that we've added a Bellini sofa from Manhattan Home Design with light gray fabric upholstery, I think a rug like that would be a good match. Thanks for sharing this makeover.

Real nice. I think the the issue before with putting the tv above the fireplace is that it can be placed to high, but in your case it seems to be in the perfect spot.

I love the changes you made, and I really like the TV over the fireplace. That coffee table was a great find, but I like the color of the corner table better, it's richer. That color would look good next to the caramel colored chairs. Or painted, not loving that finish, but everything else is wonderful and you have so much comfy seating there.

Beautiful, simply beautiful! I might be biased since my whole place is painted with the whitest flat paint on the market! You are forgiven for placing your tv over the fireplace, it just makes the most sense. My only suggestion would be to get taller legs for the sofas, similar to the ones on the chairs. I have a very similar almost identical living room layout… narrow with fireplace centerpiece and the bay window!! My difference is im in suburban side by side duplex so my front door walks into the stairs/entryway and flows into the kitchen. Ive been here for two years and am desperate for ideas to incorporate a small desk area and keep the entry way clutter free !!! SOS lol
