Maharaj Kumar Richard Holkar is the only son of Maharaja Yeshwantrao Holkar and Maharani Euphamina Watt Crane sometime Maharani Fay Holkar and resides both in Maheshwar as well as Europe. He is a philanthrophist and hotelier who manages heritage hotel at Ahilya Fort Maheshwar and Ahilya by the sea at Goa. He also owns the Rewa society which produces Maheshwar Handloom. He is not in the line of succession as was born from a foreigner. His half sister Maharani Usha Raje Malhotra is the present titular head of Holkar Royal Family and Indore state who presently resides in Mumbai

Absolutely delightful. Stayed and cherished the fort, it's location and Maa Naramada a couple of years ago. The Rewa staff are phenomenal in their approach and dealings and truly amazing. Imagine getting a refund on the saris that were duplicated by mistake, and with Covid thrown in, gave a full refund, no questions asked. No excuses about the financial year account closure and any other BS. More than the refund, the aadab with wich the whole episode was handled was humbling. And it's obvious that the top management ensires that , thats the way to go!!!!! Respects

Hello sir, glad you are exploring our NIMAR/ NIMAD. The AMBADI KI BHAJI you had is a different version of our regional dish. If you get chance please have it on any local or farmers place which will be a different experience to your taste buds. It is not just a dish it is sentiment of NIMAD😀. This bhaji is prepared with lots of hard work and little fermentation process for so many days to store and use it all around the year and it is not similar with ker sangari.Traditionally it is made with simple spices with toor dal and onion garlic and served it with an interesting sizzling tadka of dry red chillies, mustered, sesame seed, whole coriander seed and hing on top of it with makka or jwar ki roti and onion which is very delicious 😋. This dish is known as a cause of celebrations. It was previously made on some of the celebrations at home where all family members were present after completion of events like wedding this meal was served as symbol of togetherness and everyone feels nostalgic.😇😇.

Honestly, this was the weirdest cooking experience to watch. The way the Maharaj was cooking, the portions and the tasting were all very strange. I have never seen anyone strangely cook like this. Sorry, no offence to anyone.
