Excellent review G0PNM, I've watched a few of your Behalf reviews, and was wondering how you would go about cleaning the contacts, etc on one of their STEALTH models. I'm guessing what with the "totally encapsulated" parts, that maintenance might be somewhat more laborious. My apologies if I maybe I asked a question you've already answered on a previous review. (I should really watch more reviews before I start asking a bunch of questions).

Hi Pete Any idea of the total costs of getting a pearl palladium shipped to the UK from Begali Italy. The Brexit thing has changed things quite a bit. I could get it from Radioworld but they are out of stock. And tbh I'm not sure if there would be a big price difference. Cheers Ricky GM0VUY -... -.-

Depends on the model. The Pearl is entirely magnetic.

Hi, thank you for the video. I’m considering the Pearl or the sculpture… I appreciate if you could comment if, in our opinion, the price difference worth to get the sculpture

Hi Rob. Thank you for the comments. While the Sculpture and Pearl have similar mechanics, both being magnetic, the Sculpture, in my opinion is better and more versatile. You can adjust the paddle spacing which provides greater adjustability and get it dialled in just right for you. If it were me buying again, and I could choose only one, it would be the Sculpture. 73 and good luck with your decision. Does the Begali Pearl Key come with a dust cover?

@@garyhill8333 I am new at Morse code. And when there is enough time between the letters for me to think about it I can write the letter down. I know people that are polished with Morse code won’t like that. But I have a book from a man that says if you speed how fast the letters come out it’s a good thing and when you’re first learning just put a long time between those letters and you get used to hearing the letters coming out really fast. And then slowly you can decrease the time between the letters and that helps a lot. And that’s what I’m doing. What I usually do is set the speed the letters are being created sent at 20 words per minute but I slow it down enough between the letters that is actually coming out at five words per minute and I do really well with it. But the people that are really good at code may not like that but if I find somebody kind enough and slow like me it really helps me. Hopefully there’s somebody else out there like me where we can get our speed up. Thank you and God bless

@@docpearson try not to write the letters down and just copy the characters in your head. Around 18 wpm you won't be able to write fast enough to keep up with what is being sent. You will eventually start hearing words instead of letters, just like when you hear spoken words, you don't hear letters, but you hear words. Good luck and practice everyday constantly and you will get there.
