Extremely useful system, up to 10 modules on my iPhone-ipad or 6 modules with my Surface tablet or laptop using the dongle. The Data collection is phenomenal! Thank you Fluke! I have 21 FC units for full multi unit surveys; worth every penny!!!!

Another great video. I didn’t realize how much more useful the logging could be. I have been just hitting record in the FC app and going with that, the logging you showed is going to make my life much easier! Do you think you could do a video on a comparison/review between the 287 and 289? I have read good things about them but am still on the fence.

The 289 holds more data than the 287, but with the FC attachment data storage isn’t an issue any longer…. JMO

Hi Brandon, congrats on the great tutorial. Do you know if it is necessary to have a Condition monitoring subscription to be able to perform this 3 Phase measurement?

No you should not need a subscription

The only shortcoming which makes these Fluke 3000 FC products feel unfinished & not as polished as they could be is that I feel Fluke should have included software to generate graphical reports. Instead, Fluke requires you to use third-party software to extract the raw data from the loggers, and then you have to generate time-stamped graphs yourself. I bought three Fluke voltage loggers, three Fluke amperage loggers & two Fluke temperature loggers replacing various cheaper Chinese off-brand loggers. I wanted to go with Fluke as all the loggers are not only from the same brand but also from the same series where as the Chinese loggers were from various unknown brands. That said, the Chinese loggers each had software that generated fully timed stamped graphical reports with min, max & avg readings that I was able to submit to clients. I was expecting more from Fluke in this regard based off of my experience with the Fluke 435 II, Fluke 438 II, Fluke 1732, Fluke 1736 & Fluke 1738 PQ loggers.
