Such wholesome content, just playing around on the trail with your boys. This is what the hobby is all about! I'm glad you got to experience how amazing Afton Canyon is. The Mojave Desert is a very beautiful place, and we're lucky to have it right in our backyard.

Its always funny to watch less experienced drivers go off-road, especially when giving callouts. "left, left, no right, no, your right, my left, no go the other way" "Driver" and "passenger" can never go wrong.

Pretty rad seeing papadakis offroading. I grew up watching him in the late 90s breaking records for fwd cars when i used to have a 90 accord w/an h22 swap running 15s. Now i have a few 911s and a 430 scuderia. However, offroading is what i love doing most currently in my raptor and hemi swapped jk. Keep it up Larry

Larry, I love your photography and your storytelling, but this is one of my favorite videos of yours for some time. Each crazy build you shoot is unique and so much credit is due to the builders who breathe life back into stories long forgotten. Love Mojave. Never been on the trail but there are 1000s of miles of trails to explore and very private places to camp. my favorite being near the aqueduct. Such beautiful land. Shame a lot of it is closing down. I used to ride dirtbikes there with my family as a kid. That rav 4 is truly impressive. Can’t wait to put some shocks on my 3rd gen 4runner so i can do stuff like this.

Full size double cab trucks are only good on fairly flat fire roads. Hitting real mountain trails, even Tacomas get a little on the large side. There is a reason that there is a whole community out there that are nuts over modded old Suzuki Samurai’s. Just don’t tell the raptor fanboys, many actually think that they have the ultimate off road machine. That being said, if you want to go fairly fast along a fairly flat fire road, the Raptors do fairly well.
