The build is great! I have been following your builds since the very first forum days of z31 online. Its been cool to see you stay in the game this long, a buddy of mine bought one of your old Z31 intakes a long time ago!

Nice! Thanks man. Yeah, I’ve had a bunch of different vehicles besides z31’s, but for some dumb reason I just keep coming back to them. 😂

Been following you for years and just came across you again on youtube. Much respect. Maybe you'll see my z31 soon lol.

Wowwww that things a rocket once those issues is fixed you’ll be taking off😂 just found your channel I love it already
@satanz31118 ай бұрын
Thanks man. It’s quick for sure. But I try to keep it just a street car, cause I have a habit of going too far with my builds.

sick build dude, love the wheels. inspired me for mine
@satanz311126 күн бұрын
Thanks man. I am not a gold wheel guy. HOWEVER… there are certain cars that can do gold wheels. Blue WRX’s are one. The 50th Anniversary z31, having gold pin striping and gold TURBO lettering on the side skirts, makes it to where gold wheels work on this car.

@@satanz3111 i completely agree, not big on gold at all but the colors on this Z are insane. i have a red 86 TTand was planning on making it white but honestly, yours is making me want to try a grey. i had a grey RX-8 i loved but white is what the rest of my cars are right now 😂 yours is super clean, i mean looks like brand new to me. love the black accents on it, even the gold rims are just a great accent to me, my mouth would water seeing this drive down the road

Thanks man. I’m not trying to get KZbin famous or anything. I just do stuff and post it. Some people like to follow along.

I had the same diff setup. A 3.36 auto diff for the Z32 trans. When I swapped to a T56 magnum it felt kinda lazy. I put in a 3.69 and it felt way better
@satanz31118 ай бұрын
Yeah, I feel the 3.69 is a good ratio. Even the 3.54 would be ok, but the 3.31 is just too long.

I was upset at first because it was a turbo, but damn, beautiful car.
@satanz31118 ай бұрын
What do you mean? It was originally a turbo car. So I kept it a turbo car. 😆

So the 370z VLSD holds up fine? I’d assume at that power one would need to jump to the 1.5 way quaife or Kuzco diff
@satanz31114 ай бұрын
This is just a street car. If this were an auto cross or road course car, I’d probably run something like the Nismo pro carrier. If it were a drag car, I would simply do a welded carrier.

Hey, any suggestions for headers on a z31 LS swap. I'm planning on going NA 5.3 or 6.0. 87 na 5 speed Z, Dirty dingo mounts, z32 NA trans stock rear diff with Aftermarket LSD.
@satanz31112 ай бұрын
I actually don’t. All of my LS swaps always get boosted. So my manifolds always come forward. So I’m not sure what headers clear going back.

@@satanz3111 dang. Thought I'd try. I always see your name pop up in the forums from back in the early 2000's

What does a cost break down look like for a build like this
@satanz31116 ай бұрын
I’m not going to make an entire list of prices for parts to replicate this build. You’d have to watch the video and search out the prices yourself. Total cost to do it yourself, probably somewhere between $14k and $18k. If you’re paying a shop, probably $27k - $34k. Thats just a guess if you already own the car.
