Not a bad summary. We just broke this out again last night and had a blast with it. The rule book is terribly scattered so it took forever before we felt like we really learned to play it right. But once we did we had some great moments with highs and lows at the table. The die does randomize some but so do decks of cards and the die usage is fairly minimal. Not our favorite but we definitely enjoy it enough to play it again.

This game appears to hav3 a lot of issues. There is zero incentive to help another player. Champions of mid guard solves that. The system here is amazing and it has a lot of potential, but I see this has a forgotten relic.

Looks neat. I like the spins it give on the deck builder genre, and at least it doesn't use the same engine as Penny arcade/DC Deckbuilder

Outside of the decent art this game is generic garbage IMO. I bought it and played it for a few weeks and then threw it out. Cryptozoic didn't do so hot with this one...
