​@@newguysgarage6802 That's what is referred to as the "poverty tax", where you want something but can't afford to buy outright or upfront, so instead you painstakingly piece something together bit by bit and end up spending double or triple what you could have bought outright for, lol don't worry I fall for the same trap all the time lmfao.

I know the pain with trying to get compression up... I am in the process of rebuilding a Buick 350, trying to keep it budget friendly. Sadly, late model Buick 350's have an over stock spec deck height, along with big dish pistons. Even the factory low 8:1 rating on the 73 and later engines was rated higher than the actual compression. Thankfully, I lucked out and found some older flat top pistons for it. should be good now in that department. Good vid!
