I have this station and love it, large numbers , accurate as compared to other models and local temp readings. I dont like putting a screw in to hold to a wall as indicated above as at some point you need to remove to replace batteries. But for what It is and does its perfect and I may get another one.

Thanks for the comment! We're happy you're enjoying your station. As for the mounting, we suggest the screw through the front as it is the most secure option, and since the battery cover opens from the front, in most cases you shouldn't have to remove the sensor from its hanging location to change the batteries. However, we understand this may not be for everyone. Other suggestions would be to hang it from the back using a nail, securing it with Command Strips, or using our Sensor Weather Shield. The shield will be the part that mounts to your house, leaving the sensor fully accessible. More info on it can be found here: www.lacrossetechnology.com/925-1418-sensor-weather-shield

Mine shows the outdoor temp as -58> immediately after turning it on. And hasn't changed. I have it inside my house. I pressed - to reset the TX signal, but to move avail. 😢

Nice easy set up. It appears it uses it's own wireless connection vs your normal home wireless.They never make that distinction. I have another LaCrosse display and sensor set up that one uses my home wireless system and had a set up for it. This T85258 model is independent of your home wireless system.

Hey Jeff, our apologies for any confusion. All of our current products use a radio frequency to transmit sensor data to the indoor display. Products that connect to WiFi offer greater options for viewing data on the go via your mobile device, but it is only the indoor display for these systems that actually connects to your WiFi network.

I have 308-1451v2 and just replaced the batteries, but the entire day the clock is 3 hours ahead. I selected the state and the city. It is a black and white unit, not the color like in this video. What to do? I'm on the West Coast of the USA.

Our apologies for the confusion. The City Selection on the 308-1451v2 only controls the Sunrise/Sunset Times. To get the correct atomic time via the WWVB signal, be sure to have your WWVB setting set to ON, the PST (Pacific Time) Time Zone selected, and the DST setting set to ON (assuming your location follows Daylight Saving Time) in the unit's main program menu. To access this menu, hold down the SET button, use the +/- buttons to adjust the settings, and press the SET button to move to the next setting option. More specifics are covered on pages 5-6 of your full manual here: bit.ly/308-1451v2_manual

Je voudrais que l ecran reste allumer en tout temps sur le courant ? Merci

Hi Jamarie, for the screen to stay on constantly, you'll have to power it with the provided power cord. Battery power only will allow the screen to come on for about 10 seconds at a time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

My outdoor temperature is stuck on 144 degrees
@lacrossetechnology Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the trouble! Please review our restart video here: bit.ly/LaxTech_BasicRestart and let us know if this resolves the issue. In addition to the steps in that video, your sensor has a small TX button located above the batteries. Press this after you have the power restored to both the sensor and display. This should force a transmission and connect your sensor almost instantly. If you're still stuck at 144 degrees, please message our support staff directly here: bit.ly/contact_techsupport. Or alternatively, send us a private message on our Facebook: bit.ly/LaxTech_Facebook or Twitter: bit.ly/LaxTech__Twitter page for further assistance.

explain why its wireless when I have to plug it in?
@lacrossetechnology Жыл бұрын
Hey Ethel, our apologies for the confusion. The "Wireless" refers to the outdoor sensor using a radio transmission to send data to the indoor display, compared to many previous models which were connected via wires.
