I have sailed out there many times and it is absolutely beautiful. Great therapy and you will forget your other world exist.

Hung on the hook many pleasant weekends in St. Andrew Bay "behind" Shell Island on our Morgan 32 back in our sailing days. And on long weekends, we'd venture over to shelter behind Crooked Island or visit Port. St. Joe. When we didn't feel like leaving our slip in Massalina Bayou, we'd hang out at Bayou Joe's or the Hawks Nest with our sailing friends. Or walking the streets, visiting the shops in downtown PC. Bravo to the Friends of Shell Island! Enjoying the channel!

It looks like a house on stilts that was out there in recent years got taken out by the hurricane in 2018 or removed otherwise.

I grew up my whole life going here. My friends and I used to take a raft over. We used to collect huge sea shells of all sorts and loads of starfish and sanddollars. unfathomable amounts of sand dollars. My friends dad used to take us in his boat.

There are not, we suggest that you hit the facilities at the rental gift shop before heading over!

Most people just urinate in the water. Sounds bad but the ocean is a big place. As for #2 u can do the same just clean up!!

Nice Video. The club was there but you have to really want a drink to stand the heat and I was born in PC. You left out rattle snakes that live there. Sharks ran the gulf side a few people found that out. Rumor was a Spanish treasure may be there?
@30A2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, it was a fun one to make! I bet! Never heard of the Spanish treasure... how cool.

Large hammer head breading area....it was in the 80's been a while since swimming with fishing gear from Tyndall to go night fishing on Shell Island. Looks like alot of sand is missing from the west end

I didn't know the sea screamer did rides next to dolphins. Have to look that up. I've been going to PCB instead of our old place for the last 3 years. Stay near schooners....
