Always love riding in the passenger seat of his white truck during rain drives through Austin. Also loved "cyber visiting" his house, carport, and backyard during rain storms, all the trees and birdhouses dancing in the rain driven winds. Very calming and comforting. This has been my go-to channel for 15 years and still is Blessings to the O'Connors.

I will never, ever forget those hours of saving grace, listening/watching the storms in his backyard or the waves crashing in San Fran, where he lost one of his camera's to the sea. RIP Duke.

Rest in Peace, Duke. I always come to these channels ran by your uncle because no other videos relax me, but also bring me peace and comfort the way his recordings did. I always had wanted to tell him how I started watching his videos years ago when I lived in Louisiana where it rained more, but started watching his videos more when I moved to Texas in the Austin area surprisingly because it rains less here and I missed the rain. When I moved here anytime it was raining for awhile I would look here or the other channel and sure enough somehow he captured it perfectly. These videos have always helped me through physical and mental health issues and for that I will always be greatful to him. Thank you for continuing his channel. It means a lot to many people. Please keep all the videos up! Also I wanted to say I am very sorry for your loss. He seemed like a truly great guy. ❤

RIP Duke I had to move states suddenly back in 2015, where I moved was very different from my home state and it was hard adjusting to my new life, your uncle’s videos helped me a ton with the anxiety and sleep issues I was having. I didn’t know what ASMR was back then so I wasn’t sure why I liked these kinds of videos so much but it was an every night thing, I’ve probably listened to the oscillating fan videos a thousand times since then. I’m glad you’re continuing the channel and I know you’ll make great videos that Duke would be proud of.
