When I was a child, whenever it rained my mum would wake my brother, sister and me up (my dad worked night),turn off all the lights and turn the sofa to face the windows. We would all sit there with hot chocolate and listen to the storm while waiting to see the lightning, we lived on a hill and could see for miles. We all grew up to absolutely love thunderstorms and do similar things with our children. I found out recently that my mum hated them and was terrified but by waking us up and pretending she loved them she found she could cope.

This video has the nice little "plip ploop" thing goin' on and it's really like laying your head down at your window and hearing the drops hit that small puddle where the ground meets your house. because of the pitch/ tone perhaps.? I cabt tolerate high pitch rain, on tents or on cars is good, also medium strength downpour, furious rain hurts my head. now, this is tolerable, big drops, varied rhythm. sounds stupid, but its a reality. I like car sounds in the mix, texashighdef drives around in a quietish car, coast I guess, I love that one.

after the 300th times you will notice the red light in the center come out of the shadows as it reveals the dark cloaked figure. It eventually reveals its sharp claws & face... wolf demon thing. Its slow movements are caught & you can see it touch the camera & look directly into it. as if it knows it is being watched.. then it just fades away. then the red light returns. I'm sure it was just a prank.
