Is there a small boat meet anytime around Pine Island and Boca Grande area and Cayo Costa ??????????? I also wonder if anyone is building some of these small boats in that area?

We get together periodically but there are always two events per year, one in the spring and one in fall. See this website under events wctss.ij.net/index.htm. We're also on Facebook, just look up West Coast Trailer Sailing Squadron. There are always boats being built on the west coast of Florida but mostly by amateurs for their own use. I can put you in touch with pro builders if you are interested in having one built.

It's a custom one off based on a cut down, salvaged hull.
