Definitely agree. At best the Collector's Edition prices are the maximum these proxies could possibly be worth. Even then the possibility of a crash and burn is immense.

I'd say the max would be half of the collectors rare value. I think some KZbinrs were valuing them at 30% of CE.

@@ObsessiveGamer the CE cards where released in 1993! that alone would make them more collectable. The fact that they actually look like real beta cards on the front other than square corners is another good reason, why the CE will hold value and these will not.

Sad thing is you basically opened up a thousand dollars worth of packs for, let's face it, a taiga. For 1k you could have bought a MP playset of revised or 2x NM. But u get it, some are hoping to hit the lotto on some Power 9. Me personally ill save my money and watch random people open it on their channel.

honestly when pokemon celebrate 25th anniv im not a fan but i enjoy watching youtubers unboxing celeration packs, cases etc, made me to purchase some... in MTG the game i love seem like i'm in a wake watching youtubers unboxing loots.. no offense its not you as in all youtubers opening 30th anniv seems frustrated even the one pulled lotus no happiness at all ...

Wow you opened a dual land and the 4 packs still aren’t working the price using a vary questionable method. It the best we have by there is no way card keep those prices. Like that sol ring was like 200, simply no way.

Totally agree, the Collector Edition prices are certainly the absolute ceiling for the prices, and very likely going to be significantly less. Even more outrageous is the amount of cards that are absolutely not going to be worth more than $2.

I wouldn't pay $1 for anything in this set on pure principal alone. Good luck getting anywhere near CE value. WotC has completely borked every aspect of the 30th anniversary.
